Because photoshop is a pain in the ass to crack.
I didn't know the source model of a piece of software was a criteria by which artists generally choose their illustration tools.
No
Draw a circle in gimp
Because using proprietary software and allowing it to spread is immoral.
>trap_init();
how are circles relevant to the model of development and model of distribution?
Creating the initial shapes.
Are you implying this is a hard thing? You have a circle selection tool, border and fill.
what? that's a terrible method. make a circle selection, do "selection to path", then stroke the path
Why not? Krita does it's job well.
I wonder how will blender look like with grease pencil updates in 2.8
...
Oh, I learned a new thing, thanks. I don't use image editing that much so never bothered to learn stuff
bc kiki is a qt

What fucking retards, holy shit.
Krita and GIMP do everything I need to do, Photoshop and friends are bloated crapware. It's a very niche market but it all depends on your workflow. Artists generally do not care about technology as such as it can serve them

You're both retarded. GIMP has a "Stroke selection" option. You literally just circle select and then stroke, no need to border or convert to path.
they're poor.
literally replace one file
Because Ms Paint is the tool of the gods, a heavenly gift granted so that humanity may ascend and make the best memes the world has ever seen.
If u cant even crack ps you shouldnt even use it.
Because Adobe now only produces rental-ware and if you want to own your actual software you'd best get off that nipple.
I draw in krita and vector in GIMP now, after using cracked photoshop for about 12 years. I'm in the process of learning inkscape. Nothing photoshop does makes it worth 20 bucks a month. Maybe if you do a lot of work with text or logo shit, but as an artist you just don't need it.
or you could just pirate the adobe software
Sure, if you want to lock-in your file formats, workflow, and everything with Adobe. At that point why not just pay for it?
Free < Libre.
Because photoshop subscription costs too much money and I don't want to get malware pirating it.
because krita is fucking awesome
