In highschool my teachers used powerschool. One of the teachers passwords was teacher. A lot of them probably were, but he's the only one I saw type it in. This is probably your best bet.

And as for you, powerschool defaults the password to teacher whereas what my school uses, Aequitas Solutions, does not default to something so simple. And yes I tried basic passwords.
