Is the headphone jack ever coming back?

I have an iPhone 6+ and it's starting to show its age. I don't want to switch over to cuckdriod (I personally loath their ui) and I don't want to get a new iPhone for obvious reasons. Am I stuck with my iphone 6+ for the rest of my life?

If more people simply didn't tolerate Apple's (and other companies') removal of the headphone jack, there would be a better possibility of it coming back. Too many people just bend over and take it, convincing themselves "I never needed it, I don't use it anyway, etc" and buy shit because it's new. My advice to you and anyone else who truly doesn't want the headphone jack to die, is to not buy phones that don't have it. It's a long shot, but it's the only choice.

They are better though if you spend $100 or more.

The DAC in AE or OE headphones are much superior.

I did this test myself with my old phone and a pair of QC35s. Cabled in, audio sounded quiet and there was no warmth or life in it. Go onto bluetooth, and bass becomes clear, mid range is clear and highs are there (although highs on Bose are a bit shitty).

There’s just no comparison.

They all will save a few cents per phone and then charge you for a dongle you're forced to use unless you use bluetooth crap.

it "shows it's age" if you update the OS. and sadly lots of apps become outdated or obsolete on older versions, in some cases you can't even install them. i used the 4s for almost 4 years until some days ago when the screen eventually broke, thinking about getting an iphone SE
