Maybe they don't think there will be enough tech jobs for people in the computer science industries. Right now most everyone knows how well software and internet engineers are paid and that it's a good field to aim for but too many are going to graduate without jobs at the ready, because they are graduating into an industry where you have to build a resume with jobs and self starters are becoming increasingly rare as opposed to the days when building a website was enough in itself.
