I'm not sure why should anyone use some "compromise" text editor, for me it's either vim or PyCharm

I want to use this but the C++ extension is so alpha it hurts. Also on Linux the cpp extension never terminates from the background, even after you close Code. You have to kill signal it.

Vim is amazing, and no im not some veteran user. I litterally started using it over nano like one month ago and learnt how to use it by half a week in. People who say Vim is pointless beecause of learning new commands or whatever are dumb, the commands are easy to remember and once you remember them its super functional as a text editor.
