Me too. But my Ryzen 7 arrived yesterday, just waiting for AM4 mobo to arrive too, then it's so long old friend.
Shitposting on a Snapdragon 808 (inb4 phoneposter GTFO)
i7-6500U idling in front of me
i5-2310 95W miniature housefire playing some music
i5-8250U 4x3.4GHz @~25W powerhouse waiting behind me for a sweet Gentoo install
i5 3670.....not plaining to replace it until it goes pop. Probably with a ryzen based APU if they every fucking make one
Poozen 1700X
>only 95W TDP
>actual consumption is 20W + 4W/Core on a mining workload
>housefire meme is dead
god damn it
now I have to actually buy a space heater
4690k
I really see no reason to upgrade.
2500k
Hexacore mustard race!

i5 2400
Want to upgrade, but other than gaymez at the highest settings (with a 750 Ti), it does pretty much everything I want it to. Maybe after I drop a few grand on Christmas presents, I will be able to justify a new machine.
x3 720 at 3.8ghz the most meme phenom II
Still on a good ol' 4790K
The perfect processor for a dedicated Linux shitposting and anime viewing machine.
The one for laptops is technically out already. Ryzen APUs are just around the corner, I think even their original plan was to deliver in Q1 2018.
i7-3770, i7-3770s, i7-3740qm, A8-3520m, Core2 Quad q9505s, Core2 Duo u7300, Atom n570, Atom N270
next question.
>Core 2 Duo E7400
But it's getting too old. I gotta let it go.
i5 4690 non K
back then I thought I'd save a little money by buying this for the time being, it was late 2015 so I thought I'll just get a kaby lake when it comes out.
here I am now with no money or intention to upgrade to a better processor. so far this hasn't bottlenecked my rig but I'm about to get a 1080ti for 4k gaming and at that point the pokey i5 will be a bottleneck (or perhaps not right now but in the near future)
I should've just gotten a 4690K, it would be sitting at 4.5Ghz right now and I wouldn't have to think about bottlenecks at all. I'm just hoping I can find a 4770K/4790K used for a good price. Everyone just keeps asking $250 for one locally, just not worth it.
1700
i7-6700K.
My other PC has a Ryzen 5 1600X, and my laptop has a i5-6200U.
atom n270. i want to die.

Was about to upgrade, but holiday prices + cryptominer inflation makes me think I'm going to hold off for a few months.
Well... it works good and I'm ok with this

i7 6700
Intel I7 990x
Phenom II x4 955 going on 8 years.
Still pairs well with a 750ti after all these years. Nothing I can't run with medium settings at 1080p.

Snapdragon 810
8700k
FX8320
want a ryzen, but too poor to afford even low-end stuff right now, and can't sell my stuff because my area is shit for used pc parts
3 GHz of Intel glory. Still runs fine.
BIOS refuses to boot from anything larger than 2TB, but meh. I can deal.
I swear the fans whisper "kill me now" when I start it up.
Petium 4 is one of the biggest intel's mistake
What did you mean by this? Or you just baiting?
Nope. No bait. It was free, and the damned thing won't die. I keep it in the basement, for shitposting and browsing. As long as it keeps working fine, I'm going to keep running it. I have a modern laptop for real use.
>i5-8250U
Wait so how good is this cpu I just got my new laptop with it on an acer swift 3?
Phenom II x4 955/w 32GB ram. She still runs fine. does all I ask so I plan to keep her for a long time yet. (My Desktop system). Got a Socket 939 Opteron 185 system in storage, fully intact. Got a S939 Opteron 170/4GB ram/MATX combo in a box that used to be the core of my server. Server now runs a FX 8300 w/8GB ram.
Ryzen 3 1200
i5-2500
i7-3820, Sandy Bridge-E, Q1 2012.
Running at 4.3 GHz, 1.284V, about 60C on load on an air cooler.
Is this r a r e processor?
Intel Core i7-3520M

Waitin on that Ryzen2 with Vega for a full rebuild.
Multi-level caches are for soy enthusiasts.
Pentium g4600; it was cheaper then the g4560 at the time

Can't bottleneck my GTX 770

Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60GHz
fx-4130 @ 4.5ghz
Intel i7-3940xm
Feels xtreme
i3 4160. 's okay.
How's the 4790? Sourcing a 4790k is difficult now so I was considering that instead.

G4560 Masterrace bois
You can get i5 2400 and 2500 systems for $100.
Not him but I like mine. Undervolted to 1.012V and it stays cool and utterly quiet under 100% load.
I was able to sell it in 2015 for the exact same amount I paid for it in 2010
i7 4790K, 4.7 GHz @ 1.25V
Not even close to being outdated yet, but once we start seeing better support for 4+ cores, I might have to switch. Also have an i5 3570K and Z77 mobo sitting in a box in the closet as a backup. I might throw some spare parts together soon and pass off a Phenom II 955BE to a friend of the family, last I heard she was looking at a refurbished i5 650 system. I've got better parts just sitting in the closet collecting dust. I just need to see if she's okay with an ATX mid tower first as the Cooler Master 690 II is quite a bit larger than the refurb she's looking at.

Never heard of the 3700k
amd fx-8350, equal to an i5 pretty much
Me but e5450
Atom z3735F in my hands, 6700K on my desktop, and Penryn C2D in my T400

no ragrets
i5 750 maybe.
i5 2500K still going
