Why does Sup Forums keep recommending this software? I stated using it last year after falling for all the shilling here on Sup Forums and it's by far the buggiest piece of software I have installed. Nothing fucking works well. Even simple shit like selecting more files to download within a torrent is buggy. I absolutely hate using this app. I still use it because I have 50+ torrents in it and I'm too lazy to redownload all the torrents and seed using a different client.
Seriously, how can a torrent client that's version 4.x be so fucking buggy and get basic shit wrong?
Less than 1% get closed and most of the closed are closed as duplicates.
I've personally reported 10 bugs over the past year and none have been fixed.
It's a dead project.
Joshua Martinez
works well for me. i don't like the new icon redesign, though.
Thomas Roberts
>new icon redesign that's all they work on... fucking up the design. they don't fix bugs tho.
Gavin Turner
It's really good
Nolan Walker
redownload? why not just get utorrent 2.2.1 and recheck the files
Jaxon Hill
>Works on my machine lol
Josiah Walker
i've actually reported quite a few bugs that have got fixed
Isaiah Rogers
I used it for ~4 years zero issues but I must say I am a simple man I download like 5 torrents max, when they are finished I delete them and basicly i only use build in search and sequential download, thats all
Michael Cooper
>I download like 5 torrents max at the same time I mean, not total total is closer to 5000 in that time ;)
Jaxon Wilson
use your brain
OP is referring to redownloading the .torrent files to point at the data.
Of course OP should also knwo that those .torrent files are in %AppData% somewhere and he can just copy paste
Brayden Ramirez
Not OP, but the new version is buggy shit, and commits to fix are slow as per the repo. >everything, no matter what, lists as [F] Downloading >this was pushed as a major release
Caleb Rogers
I forget which applications I used before, but they weren't any better. I like the UI. It gets the job done. >Frostwire >uTorrent >Transmission QT >Deluge
Zachary Cooper
Probably not perfect but I don't think there's a better alternative. I absolutely don't want to use old and insecure software (uTorrent 2.2.1) and in Deluge you can't even select more torrent at once with the mouse. You must use ctrl+click. That sucks.

What did they fixed with 4.0.2?
Eli Wilson
...
Brody Harris
All software has bugs, user.
Great thing about qbit it's it's open sores so stop fucking crying and fix your own shit or post your issue on the forum and wait patiently.
Also, try deluge if you don't mind the bloat.
Evan White
STALLED
Ethan Gonzalez
I have never had any of the problems people claim to have with qBittorrent, and I've been using it for several years. Perhaps it's because I'm using the Linux version.
Kevin Edwards
updated to 4.0.2, noticeable lag when switching torrents while having peer tab open
Josiah Kelly
i dont want to hijack this guys thread, but.....
Does anyone use the search feature? Is it good?
Dylan Phillips
use tixati, or install Gentoo
Connor King
Literally this. If anything they have bugfix releases too often...
Most of the posts ITT are shilling lies.
Camden Lopez
they're fixing cosmetic issues and fucking RSS feeds (who the fuck uses that shit anyway??) yet all the core shit still doesn't work. that project is managed by monkeys.
Parker Ward
>fix crash >fix crash >fix crash
>cosmetic issues
Nathaniel Sullivan
All the time. Works fine.
Grayson Clark
This. I'm convinced the linux version works just fine and it's windows builds being retarded.
Dylan Davis
mostly curries and absolute retards who don't know how to pc compooder people who allow software to run from %appdata% should be shot
Chase Bailey
I don't even use anything else to search for torrents. It's pretty good.
Thomas Butler
Sage grows in all fields
Aaron Rodriguez
Deluge. End of story
Connor Watson
what's wrong with %appdata%
Jace Gomez
I rely on rss feeds to get my seasonal animu downloaded when I'm not at home. It saves me hours every week
Jason Morales
seems to me it's meant for the application's data and not the program files as those are supposed to go to %programfiles%
Liam Gutierrez
letting stuff run from %appdata% is how malware spreads so easily
Nicholas Hernandez
Same. Using 3.1.9.2 for many years and haven't even needed to install a newer version (always keep saying I will when I do a fresh install or get new drives but I never do anyways).
Christian Garcia
because its good. not run into any bugs here.
when i was looking for a utorrent replacement i was recommended this and tixati but tixati seemed to be missing basic features like categories/labelling (though maybe im just a retard and couldnt find it) so i stuck with qbt because its literally a drop in replacement for utorrent without utorrents bullshit
