What did you do?

You'd have to find out all such social media, maybe use something like this deseat.me/

seriously just google "delete yourself from internet" and a ton of info should come up

bad idea, you should obfuscate your footprint and let the misinfo update your most recent activity

>tfw have accounts registered in so many services and websites I can't remember
>my phone number added as a two step verification process for many sites as well

It's never going to be easy

this

One (of many) thing to keep in mind: do not just delete social media accounts. First, stop using the ones that are problematic. Just let them go fallow. Methodically go through all the settings and fill in as much data as possible with bullshit. Be careful to not get yourself locked out of the account; some places require valid phone &/or email etc. & will lock access if they are changed to something invalid.

Read up all current policies & procedures for deleting all the posts & content out of the accounts. Follow it meticulously. Unfriend everybody, or whatever the equivalent is. People that you care about staying on contact with, make prior arrangements Do you maintain a contact list/address book with all your friends in it? Their phones & birthdays, etc.? Make sure to fill fields with bullshit as much as possible.

Take a couple of days/weeks doing it. Make sure all the changes take. Be thorough.

Now you are ready to follow procedures to delete those accounts. It would take a legal investigation to dig into the archives to find all the deletions and changes, everyone else that gets access to obsolete/deleted accounts will find nothing but bullshit.

Use google to search out where any of your content has been re-used on websites, re-tweeted, etc. Start making decisions about what needs to come off the Internet. Issue take-down notices to websites, emphasize their liability in hosting your copyrighted, personal content.

This scratches the surface. A lot of shit will just keep turning up for years. I scrubbed myself as much possible around 2005. I kept at it for years. Going on about a decade and nearly everything associated with my name is now gone, but still some weird details pop up here and there. Too many public records and other data just keeps getting re-sold between various entities. But, over 95% of everything is gone now, and the remainder is often false info. Misspelling your name everywhere does wonders.

>ssue take-down notices to websites, emphasize their liability in hosting your copyrighted, personal content.

protip, if you are yuropoor cite the GDPR and cc EU regulators, in 6 months they can issue some _heavy_ fines

>But, over 95% of everything is gone now, and the remainder is often false info.

your body's cells change every 7 years bro

Search your name in quotes on Google.
If there are results for people who aren't you, that's a good thing; it makes your job much easier.
If you're like me, and you are the only person with your name, then it's a lot more tricky.

Step one is to delete the social media accounts. There is a difference between deleting and deactivating. You should DELETE them.
Step two is to go through each result on Google. If it is an account you own, then either delete the account or edit the account's information so it does not have your name on it.
Step three (optional but encouraged) is to create results on Google that you want people to see.
- Register a domain with your name
- Post your resume on your domain (with your contact info edited out)
- Put a mailto link to an email address on your domain on your domain's homepage (helps boost Google ranking)
Step four is to wait. Google results take time to update - expect two weeks at a minimum for a bot to crawl the changes you've made.
Step five is repeat as necessary.

>falling for the social/data jew
It's too late user, they already have all the information they need from a retard like you

Stay cucked

nah, that's stupid, your info changes all the time

You shoulf be fine if you clear all your infos on every accounts then delete them.

you cant. many small sites and caches are up forever even if they are completely abandoned(you could probably hack them)

Thank you so much user, great advice. Many of my friends and my family uses social media so it'll be hard to get used to, but I will try my best, again thanks.

My name is so coming it's difficult to find anything about me anyway.

Good for you user, my name isn't that common so it's pretty easy to find shit about me

How would I be able to do this if I live of digital art? I don't have any "irl" social media, but I had for a few years when I was a teenager. Now I only have social media to post art and do business, but I also have to keep it associated with my bank account to have income. Is there any work around to this without being illegal?

>search my name
>I died in London in 2012

that's pretty good

then how are you posting?

Use BleachBit and acid-wash everything

kek

found the youtuber
1. you are not making art
2. running on borrowed time
3. Google can fuck you up whenever they want. If you have legit followers, try to move out of the walled garden to your own turf. Or not

I don't even have a gmail/outlook account.

I'm not an youtuber, I do commissions. I don't have any personal information social media except for PayPal because it has my bank information, I'm asking what would be the best alternative to this.

Exclusively use a pseudonym of some kind. If you only take commissions from people online, then this isn't an issue. If you want to catch bigger fish you'll probably need to put some real info down there, but honestly an email address will be good enough. Just create [email protected] and have it forward to your personal mailbox.

If you rely on commissions from people in real life... good luck.

maybe you have heard of this fad called cryptocoins
