my browser just hung on me, so i closed it. now when i try to restore the windows, it just recreates my current fucking window over and over again. i could put up with it being a slow piece of shit because it had h264 support and was based on chromium, but fuck this.
is there a single half decent web browser out there?
how well does it run with a few hundred tabs? RAM usage isnt an issue for me, but CPU usage is.
Cooper Myers
why the f*ck would you have that many tabs open
Jayden Carter
Want a proper Opera clone? Get Otter. Want a hipster browser? Get Brave.
Cameron Clark
Not bad at all. Only the most recently accessed tabs are active.
Jackson Reed
Literally ADHD.
Jacob Thomas
why dont you, faggot? i like to keep all manner of shit open for later.
i want a good browser that doesnt eat CPU time and scales to several hundred tabs nicely
interesting. it actually seems to be more stable than it used to be now too.
Joshua Johnson
>i want a good browser that doesnt eat CPU time and scales to several hundred tabs nicely Nu-Firefox is ideal for that.
Nathan Hughes
Vivaldi is experimental. whaddyaexpect.jpg
Bentley Jackson
have you actually tried running a few hundred tabs on it?
Kevin Garcia
I keep over 150 tabs open without a hitch.
Nathaniel Flores
on multiple windows?
Cooper Taylor
Nope, but in Firefox it doesn't matter.
Owen Brown
chrome works best, brave is interesting but has some serious hangups, firefox is absolute shit
Jaxon Rodriguez
>is there a single half decent web browser out there?
What's wrong with firefox?
>inb4 sorosfox
Grayson Garcia
pls don't swear this is a christian photo sharing forum
Alexander Hall
...do you not use bookmarks?
Jason Anderson
>is there a single half decent web browser out there? no
Jordan Reyes
This. Pre-Quantum FF with addons is the least shit but that really doesn't say much.
Chase Thomas
> using swimsuit and socks at the same time It's like, I don't know, smoking in shower. Pointless.
Carson Jackson
400 tabs
its worth mentioning that my ram usage generally hovers around the 20GB mark
til recently it ate CPU usage and crashed a lot, and became unresponsive with large numbers of tabs
ill load it up in a different profile and give it a spin
Jonathan Carter
>cant ctrl+select tabs in firefox trash it is
Blake Sullivan
Palemoon is the only browser that can handle such a cancerous workflow. - Vivaldi is actually pretty great. It's like Chrome with a richer interface.
Matthew Perry
Firefox or waterfox
Aaron Price
That's what oyu get for not using a browser that respects your freedom, cuck. I bet you're american
Jacob Davis
Firefox, and all it's derivatives (except for PaleMoon) suck ass when dealing with a lot of tabs. I regularly have sessions with +1k tabs open too, and so far most browsers suck at this.
Sometimes I have both of them open to distribute the load a bit, because otherwise they slow down like hell, even though I have an i7+32GB of ram. But at least those two never crash or freeze up!
Jacob Jones
got fed up with windows and installed ubuntu. it had firefox preinstalled and it was okay i guess but i really want breve to thrive so that's why i'm using. it works fine other than when i launch it it has retarded toolbar on top but once i minimize and maximize it - gone.
Dylan Taylor
>breve brave i mean
Aaron Williams
> i like to keep all manner of shit open for later. Bookmarks exist, brainlet.
Asher Miller
400 fucking tabs, retard
John Hughes
the only r*tard here is you, that's literally why bookmarks were created
Noah Myers
It has one thing that Firefox, a working full-page screenshot tool.
James Nguyen
It has one thing that Firefox doesn't have, a working full-page screenshot tool.
Hudson Torres
and im telling you theyre not good enough for storing large browser sessions
Jace Thomas
how many of those 400 tabs do you regularly access? I'm guessing less than 50 just use bookmarks dumb*ss
Matthew Wood
>brainlet can't handle accessing more than 50 tabs regularly >doesn't know about spatial navigation >doesn't realize it's faster to switch tabs than going 'back'/'forward' and reloading the same links constantly >thinks a queue of unread tabs is worthy of bookmarking That says more about you than it does about anybody else's workflow, idiot.
Justin Allen
Vivaldi is the only decent web-browser right now. The only browser where you can actually manage your tabs as well as having other useful features.
