probably something worse than the abomination called fiji and vega. and that's coming from a proud vega 56 owner who would buy it all over again. i wanted 1070 performance and i got it but come on, a year after nvidia and all you can do is come out with two cards that match the 1070 and 1080?

No, it's full as in all working. Like the slides say the deferred rendering shade once is optional since you obviously can't discard pixel for shade once without the sequential passes, and particularly depth pass, that deferred renderers do.
3d modeling app works so well on Vega Frontier because DSBR is enabled and optimized for those apps
