Not him but that's exactly the same thing that applefags have been doing. Nobody notices these things when there's nothing to compare it to, when you're just using your own device for stuff. The speed varies between phone models more than it does between the two systems in general.
So if the systems can't compete with speed, they need to compete with other stuff. Like updates and features. Android will always have more features but Apple gets updates longer so they can cripple the old ones unusable with systems that the device can't handle. Android phones don't even try to push updates when the device can't take it so it'll at least stay as usable as when you bought it.
