the reality looks like fucking nothing other than a bid to re-introduce DRM to the platform unless they allow users to download songs they like permanently and DRM-free for an additional fee, which given that they want to basically enroll everyone with an Apple ID into Apple Music (implying a "free" tier), might actually be the case
or they'll just fuck those users out of the opportunity to buy more music and instead force them to stream or leave, bet they'll probably leave
