How is Windows convenient in any possible way? I'd have to install virtual machines with Linux just to do work in that case. Not to mention that I would have to spend days learning how to use Windows, as the last time I even touched a Windows computer was in 1998.

Windows is not a catch-all OS, it's a platform for running Microsoft Office.

That's the same amount of time anyone would use installing any distro. You download the netinstall iso, cherry pick packages, download packages and start writing core system + packages to disk. How can you do it any faster than this?

You can create your own Linux distribution using Gentoo. Ebuilds are just bash scripts that gives the location to the source repo.

I clearly have installed it, compiling shit from scratch isn't worth your time. If you're going to do it anyway, then just do LFS instead and create your own distro.

it's just some build scripts based of LFS using a simple bash package manager, you can find the build scripts in my git repo but except issues: github.com/fanboimsft/lfs-script/
