Botnet

What's your Operating system and which browser do you use?
>macOs
>Firefox 57

Win10, Waterfox.

>Windows 10 1709 or whatever the newest shit is
>FF57

windows 8.1
firefox nightly

Windows 10 + Chrome/Vivaldi on OS X Safari (it's actually pretty good with high sierra)

>massive CPU hog
Not anymore.

Same here.

Vivaldi

The performance is good so far but there is random screen tearing when I minimize & restore.

>windows 8.1
Who hurt you?

Windows 7.
Waterfox.

I had no problems using it, what makes you think I shouldn't?

Arch
FF 57

windows 8.1, macos and debian
firefox 57 on macos, esr on debian. windows i only use for vidya so none there

>>pretty good with high sierra
>root
>

win10, ff
sometimes edge with ublock for some sites that fore some reason don't zoom right in ff

Linux, elinks

Only the ascended will understand win8.1

>opera
>chrome reskin
I use Opera. Can confirm. It's literally a dark themed Chrome. Fortunately RAM consumption is reasonable and the built-in ads (prefetch) is a nifty plus.

Windows 10 Pro
Vivaldi

Lubuntu
Pale Moon

Windows Embedded Standard 7
Waterfox

>i'm a normie, the thread

win10 with chrome
embrace the botnet

>Windows 10
>Firefox 58.0b11

macOS
Chrome. It's the fastest and that's what matters.

Windows 7 with Waterfox.

>"why browsers are bad in a sentence"
>all browsers
>actual arguments
>safari
>"lol"

Is Safari really that good?
Last time I tried it was in 2008 and I hated it

mac os
safari

also chromium's ram consumption isnt that bad, especially if you know how to manage your website usage (not opening 100s of tabs)

>Windows 10
>Opera 12.18 (Opera)

Btw is there any unofficial builds based on leaked source code?

>OSX
>Safari

because much native UI and integrations, keychain across multiple boxes and suggestions, tabs on the iPhone.

>Chrome
>RAM consumption through the roof

How is this a complaint? It's like you don't understand how RAM works.

GNU
Firefox

MacOS
Safari + Firefox Nightly for some services
You get used to the shit and learn to live with the pain

Win 10
Chrome

Just accept the fact that everything you do while connected to an ISP is logged and retrieveable by most governments and private data corporations.

Pretty much this.
I don't fucking care anymore.

Xubuntu and Waterfox

chrome reskin and vivaldi

windows 10

Win 10 with Vivaldi
Antergos with Firefox nightly

You know they don't hand out "goy of the year" awards.

massive cpu hog, always the massive cpu hog

Windows 7, coffee lake edition
Waterfox

how many memes have I fallen for? my gpu drivers keep fucking crashing and black screening my monitors
How bad is Win10 fully debloated?

>carrot juice

>How bad is Win10 fully debloated?
Fast out of the box but still subject to Windows rot.

Debian, Icecat

Gnubuntu 16.04 Firefox Nightly

W10 and KDE Neon
Vivaldi, I also have Firefox installed on both and I really like FF 57 but it became almost useless for me without old extensions, unfortunately.

>Only the ascended will understan
Tumbleweed
Chromium

Win10 / Debian 9.3
Waterfox

best firefox alternative right now.

Win7, Firefox 57.0.2.

What can a phonefag do?

Windows 10
Iridium

Solus, Waterfox & de-googled-chromium & Chrome (for Netflix on linux.)

install a free-as-in-freedom boorloader and rom and live without features like gps, wifi or 3g+ connectivity

LTSB doesn't have this problem

Debian Unstable GNU/Linux, Nightly

Windows 8.1 and FF57
Would go for Linux but far too many Chinese cartoons stored on these hard drives to clean install

Put them on your second partition.

>Desktop

Debian stable + Chromium

>Netbook

Debian + Qupzilla

I unearthed by netbook and turned it on for the first time in six years the other day.

It had Opera 11.5 on it, which I thought was way cool, until I realised it didn't work with about 75% of websites I tried.

Waterfox on VoidLinux.

windows 10 + chrome 64 bit
feel comfy knowing microsoft and google are keeping an eye on me :)

Dual-booting Windows 10 Enterprise and Kali Linux 64-bit.

Also using my own fork of Waterfox and ungoogled-chromium.

Linux 4.13.0-19
Chrome

>Also using my own fork of Waterfox
Interesting. What changes have you made to your own fork?

Win10 2016 LTSB
Waterfox
How do you "unfuck" Win10 again? I know you can't block the botnet completely, but I forgot which scripts I had to use to block the majority of the connections.

What should i use for Ubuntu, it has Firefox and i don't fuck wtf that no more

Just mostly changed some defaults and disabled some things I never use, like bookmarks and stuff like that. A few optimizations as well, and updated some stuff to the latest upstream.

I usually used Spybot Anti-Beacon, but I have tried many of the tools out there. They are all pretty much switches that you can switch yourself, and blocking things in the hosts file is dangerous if you don't do it right. Deleting and disabling Windows stuff can causes issues as well, so I don't really know what to do at the moment. :(

In fact I'm using that right now, but I remember I installed normal Win10 and I used some weird cmd script shit.
Oh well, good thing is that Enterprise only sends some anonymous shit to MS.

win 7, waterfox
i'll force myself to learn linux in 2020 once 7 is killed

The Enterprise version is the only version that can turn most of everything off and still be useable.

I wish there was a test of all the tools in the form of a video or a write up, that would be useful.

>Solus
>Waterfox

Windows 10 LTSB 2016 with Firefox 57 or whatever the latest release is.

Most of Win10 tools are some form of social media shit, all useless to me.

windows 7 firefox

Social media shit? What do you mean?

>Debian Stretch
>Chromium

Chromium is after all only using 10 GB of RAM, so whyever wouldn't I use it.

Talking about normal Win10, Store, XBOX, MSN, etc.

chrome but stopped because I feel like Google is throttling it.firefox

>my gpu drivers keep fucking crashing
More than likely you just have bad hardware.

Oh, well nobody uses universal Windows platform apps. lol

We were talking about Win32 apps that make Windows 10 more secure and private. I don't believe any of them are on the Windows store, or at least none that are legit, anyway.

Plz respond

Win7
Ungoogled chromium
I tried going back to firefox a bit ago and it's just too clunky for me now. I'd use vivaldi instead if they could just fix the bugs that have been around for months.

Safari is unironically excellent

Litterally owned by the chinks. Enjoy your eventual botnet.

Windows XP SP3 and Firefox 52.5

You should quit using spyware as your main OS, and then you should switch to Waterfox, Pale Moon, or Icecat. Either that, or you could switch to ungoogled-chromium, Brave, or Iridium.

You like to live dangerously, I see.

What would my main os be

Chrome 64 use less memory than Firefox Quantum just saying.
Go check benchmarks

Linageos 13
Clover

install gentoo

Event 13 nvlddmkm or something like that
I was getting it very regularly yesterday, I heard that it could be one of a billion different things
but I DDU'd and grabbed an older driver and it now happens a lot less often than it was before

Or it could be one of these shitty ass RAM sticks I bought, I see that people get DOA RAM from Ripjaw pretty consistently

DragonFly BSD
Firefox ESR

S-Should I update?

win7 palemoon

i like chromium and qupzilla
