Everyone datamines and then sells your data on the deep weeb. how do you think websites stay alive with 80% of the population using an adblocker

I don't doubt you but how can I learn more or get some proofs

>Proofs?
It's free, so (You) are the product.

ToS literally states they sell your info to partner companies. Every single thing you post is theirs to sell

Just go to deep weeb

Free and closed source. If it were open source it would be impossible for you to be the product since it could just be forked.

So how many CP collections they own then?

>Just go to deep weeb
This entire board is full of deep weebs

you must go even deeper

>blocks your path

>closed source

lol just unpack the .asar file lmaoing @ u winbabbies

Don't use nonfree software ever.

Free as in beer, not speech. That is, "gratis", not "libre". There is no implied freedom.

They're Chinese, so you tell me

There are numerous forks for Firefox, try again.

I understand the distinction and I was referring to the gratis distinction. If Discord were open source, it could be forked to remove data collection while retaining functionality.

desu only thing I care about is wether it's better thank skype or not and wether my normie parents that are sick of skype would adopt it or not
heard it finally got video, right? how's it for videocalls?

who knows...probably not.

Post a link in the chat.
Discord processes it and posts some information about it. It has to do this by recording the link, following it through, and then collecting data on it. They're literally recording and analysing everything you post there. Everything you say is being recorded, put through a speech-to-text server, and stored as text, then sold to data harvesters so that they can sell that data to advertisers.
The reason you get gay porn ads is because you talk about boypussy on discord, user.

>Not using Mumble

Closed-source software is free game to go calling a botnet.

>no bara furry ads yet
what am i doing wron

>name
>ip
>time spent running programs
>things typed
>keylogger is the chrome they use
>they are hosted on google's servers

this is why i tell people to not be retarded and post personal information there
i feel bad for people who actually buy nitro

You mean 27,5 %?
Why would you need proof? It pretty much needs to be their business logic. You shouldn't trust no one.
