RAM consumption issue!

Hey Anons,
Need some help here.

So I recently got Alienware 15 R3.
It have 8GB RAM.

The thing is, alteast 35% of my RAM is in use when idle. (~3GB)

Attaching a screenie taken right after booting.
If I add up all the processes listed, it barely adds up to 520MB.

I've used all kinds of anti-virus/malware detecting softwares and all time got 0 risks.

What do you think is the issue anons?

"killer network"
Gaming was a mistake.
You have a memory leak problems most likely from a badly optimised game.

Uninstall bloatware. Also, unused ram is wasted ram. Windows reduces RAM usage when you need more. Also, this is not tech support.

Also
>prebulit pc
>pre bulit pc
>not custom bulit
>doesn't uninstall bloatware
I can't believe anyone is that retarded on Sup Forums

>What do you think is the issue anons?
wangblows/NT using your ram for disk caching as it should. This is not an issue, this is an expected behaviour.

>What do you think is the issue?
>while using windows

Fuck linux
Post this when linux has some available programs
Not meme programs like Libreoffice

That's not a game, m8. That's either a driver or a utility for those retarded "Killer" branded integrated NICs.

Could be, but shouldn't reboot get rid off the memory anyway?

What all stuff should i uninstall?
Except Killer Network?

The issue starts, say when I start a game. (Blade&Soul for example)
It ends up reaching 90% memory use, and I keep getting FPS drops from 100 to 20 every other second.

So I checked Task Manager>Performance and found that both CPU and GPU usage% were Oscillating between 0% and 20%.

So I read somewhere that RAM was bottlenecking my CPU and GPU usage.

The game peaks at ~2.8GB usage, but still my memory gets almost full.

I don't think Windows explicitly reports disk cache as "used RAM"

>available gaymes
ftfy, you need to go back

you're right, just checked I'm currently at 30% RAM usage with another 60% of my RAM used to caching.

Said programs, l2read

I had the same issue, try this user youtube.com/watch?v=nQ4zkThSWpM

We all know what you really mean, retard.

Thanks for reply, user.

Unfortunately it didn't fix my issue. :/

You can play 2hu in wine and some VNs. That you need, faggot.

>killer network
This is known to cause problems. It has a memory leak. Go to the manufacturer website and download the latest drivers.

Tried.
Still not fixed. :c

Op this cannot be all tasks you have to somwhere enable to view all

Did you disable the integrated graphics card if it has one

Fuck off, I meant programs. How the fuck do I use
>>>>Office
on linux
Kys. Didn't mean games faggot.

Uninstall all the dell shit and disable Nvidia telemetry service on Start-services.msc. Go to Startup, disable various unneeded crap there.
