What's your monitor resolution and Aspect ratio?

900 is such a shitty res. Give me (at least) 1080 or give me death.
1920x1080
This christmas I'm getting a 21:9 1080 monitor.

Just got one of these and I love it. As someone who only had a 40 inch 1080p tv to use before this feels like I can multitask and do so much more. Supposed to be good for gaming, but I haven't really tried that out.

Waiting for a "4k+" widescreen version of 16:10 before I upgrade... which will probably be closer to 8k.
I mean sure there are widescreen "4k" 21:9 (which are actually 21:10) monitors, but they tend to be 3840 x 1600... so just a wider version of what I already have.
1680x1050 16:10 master race
Pretty good for games, though some (especially older stuff) wig out and won't work or need some fuckery to get working properly

Some older games require configuration, this tool should help:

It's also pretty great for theater movies.
1920x1200
16:10.
I don't actually think I would like a larger resolution screen at this very moment.
Call me a luddite but save for Windows 10, macOS and Gnome 3 don't support hi-dpi very well and you will still get broken applications no matter the os.
With 1920x1200 I essentially avoid that problem by not having to scale anything.
I haven't tried 2560x1600 long enough to say though. I would need a 30 inch display with this resolution to get the same dpi.

I have no idea why laptop manufacturers have such a huge boner for this fucked up resolution.

Not good. I won't buy a laptop with this resolution ever again.

I also have a 1920x1080 monitor in portrait mode for documents, as well as a 1080p TV off screeen for gayman

It's the minimum resolution required by Windows at a certain screen size, so they're just cheaping out.
It was just them being cheap and widening 1024x768 so it was "close enough" to 16:9 and they could technically label it as HD
4k@40"+
Try it for one day you'll never want to go back.
43" UHD (16:9)
will never go smaller, and will only upgrade for refresh rate and dpi (i.e., 8k) improvements.
I've had my 40" 4K monitor for a couple of years now.
It's abject suffering using the 23" HP AIO at work.
Same here. Monitor at work is like looking out of a crossbow slit
>3440x1440
>21:9
I frankly love it. 2560x1080 can suck a dick though, I wouldn't go any lower than 1440 at this aspect ratio.
don't you mean 8:5?
anyways, why are you asking?
two 1920x1200 monitors at work
I like it (especially for tiling things horizontally) but once 4K becomes the norm I don't think I'll mind going back to 16:9

Buying a up3017 soon for plp goodies.

I don't know how some of you guys manage with one small, low resolution monitor.
Lol same as mine
22" 1680 x 1050
24" 1920 x 1200
55" 1920 x 1080
2 * 1280x1024

I've got two 4k 16:9 24 inch panels
1920x1080
1920:1080
1280 x 1024 5:4
1600 x 900 16:9
I use a 43" 4k and partition it into a big ~21:9 on the bottom half and three small ~16:9 windows on top half. The ratios aren't exact but functionally similar.
I've used dual monitors, triple monitors and 34" 21:9. This feels like the best of all worlds, don't have to move eyes/head as much and most information is within immediate view.
2560x1600
1280x800
16:10
Also 1680x1050, and 1280x1024 but I don't really use either of those at the moment.
