For a start: the IPhone uses glass made by the same company that makes Samsung’s glass. Samsung used the company’a formerly toughest glass, while the iPhone X uses a special glass that Apple commissioned just for the iPhone.

It is a bit worrying how far the processor outstrips samsungs but and continues to create a bigger gap each year. Surprised they haven't started using it in their laptops to be honest. In single core benches it outstrips year old i5s.
