nice ricing, is clover easy to install or is it as hard as gentoo?
get out
what do you use it for?
Anime website
what DE are you using?
most recently, learning how to set up FTP, NFS, and Samba
CloverOS is very easy to install. It's gentoo with an install script.
It's easier, but everyone who uses Linux should install gentoo once for the experience. Pic related.
It's DWM by suckless
check it out!

Anytime, traveller.
bloat etc..
btw here is my wallpaper for anyone wondering.
ubuntu-hate is a meme, unless you have it on a low-end computer, you shouldn't be ashamed.
Why do you use void? Non-meme answers please. I think the justification is
>no systemd
>free as in freedom
But why you choose this over gentoo? And how bad really is systemd?
Oops not you
not him, but unlike arch or gentoo, void has a proper installer. Other than that, i guess you are more free to fuck with you OS than arch.
i'm you missquoted, i installed void earlier today but it shat itself when i installed nvidia non-free drivers.
it's way simpler to install than gentoo, it comes with a ncrurses installer that guides you all along.
Can you provide an image where we can actually see neofetch text?
Toasting in an ebin bread
I use void because I wanted to use a non-systemd distro.
>And how bad really is systemd?
Well aside from this whole page
without-systemd.org
and this whole page
suckless.org
As for my experience I notice systemd actually leaks memory a bit. I left both VMs running and left for a while. When I came back, the Void one was using the same amount of ram as it was when I left it, while the Debian one was using slightly more. Both were (at the time) using the same WM and terminal emulator.
>But why you choose this over gentoo?
I'm too brainlet for that shit right now.
...
not him, so void has the liberties of gentoo without being a pain in the ass?
Well that and you don't get the whole benefit of compiling everything yourself with per-package use flags and portage and all that shit.
i am intrigued now, but idk if it is better than arch, Arch has an excellent documentation and the AUR
i hope you guys like it
here u go
sorry for this
i'll use linux when i get myself a laptop
yeah void doesn't have something similar to the AUR neither. everithing that isn't in the repo you have to compile it yourself.
i'd rather use arch or antergos than void, personally.
Mine looks so boring, any tip?
i hope your family actually sees your desktop.
Care to share the background?
install adapta GTK theme
it will be equally boring but in another shade of gray
Nice. I like the old school look.
