I’ve always heard my father is the life of the party, making people laugh, having a good time, and it was always inspiring to me. When I was young I was also very personable but I started to get social anxiety as I reached middle school going into university. One of my main fears was just general small talk, any conversations really, severe enough that I’d avoid all social contact I could manage. Through a mix of courage, suffering, good friends and working on a skill I chose I’m more personable now, still anti social but I hold my own well enough to be regarded as nice to have at a party instead of a silent creepier.

The skill I chose was working on telling a story, introducing characters with a quick backstory or funny anecdote, little scene setting lines about places and events and tying it well together seemed to be what I found to be the most important for functioning well in a group high intensity conversation. You can talk about anything and make it a story to fit any tone you want, talking about a printer and going to get a cartridge but mentioning all the little tidbits that add a narrative to process.

This is only a part of a process of recovering but I just thought it might be an interesting thing people hadn’t thought of. Thanks guys.

That's not bad actually. It has the typical wanky vagueness you see from companies today and the familiarity from that helps.

It's perhaps not specific enough to communicate PC repairs though.
