Learn clojure
>again
????
used to love programming
now i just leave it before i even start coding
read your sicp
Depends what you're interested in concerning programming.
I usually watch a bunch of documentaries regarding programming when I lose my motivation, like the one about Pirate bay. Super cool check it out
I dibt know what Im sayingoajwdna
>documentaries regarding programming
i watched tpb afk
can you recommend any others
Altough they possibly hired one of the wierdest and most out of place voice actors ever, i can recommend the revolution OS documentary.
Or go to any hacking con or lurk in the open source community, the drive and passion some of these people have is unreal.
I've met old school hackers over the years who had no real jobs, lived super low key and simple lifes but would completely dedicate themself to their coding projects.
Of course you could say it's stupid working for free but some of those guys are like buddhist monks who spent years weaving a carpet only because it gives them a piece of mind.
All the while having skills that would pay them tons of cash if they went into industry.
don't suppose you could post some more documentaries desu i have downloaded these and would like a few more to add to my backlog
had that strong hype when I was 14
I couldn't understand shit
hype never came back
lmao
Programming is a skill and one you don't forget, you're just trying to sound like less of a pleb
Install VisualStudio
thankyou desu
No, but it can become just another boring task
This guy sucks. He left some database exploit wide open, even after someone informed him of it.
He's ok, almost every dev goes apeshit whenever someone tells them they screwed up.
Here's a cool interview with him youtube.com
And at least he's not Phil Fish.
I remember that. I believe it was a bunch of user made levels for meatboy. Same guy went and fucked with it right after I believe which was a dick move but Tommy really should have listened and fixed it. I'm a little sympathetic though cause Indie Game the Movie really humanized the devs to me. I could tell the fella was stressed as hell trying to get meatboy out but doesn't excuse his poor decision. Just makes me understand it better.
He is talking about the hype to prog, not his knowledge. Dumbass.
Why are programmers always dressed like slobs?
Like, why does producing what is often niche and useless code to 99.99% of the population give you the idea that it's not okay to formally dress appropriately?
Other people who type all day have no problem putting on clean and ironed long sleeve shirts.
if you need to it to put food on your table, that's enough motivation. Also, keep personal projects separated of your main job or you are going to hate programming.
