Join us on our adventure learning esperto! Esperanto is the most popular artificial language with estimates of up to 10 million speakers. And it will be Sup Forums's new meme language.
It is really easy to learn; with dedication, you can learn it in three weeks.
>hmm >really makes you think >gee, I wonder who could be behind this >memes >cuck >Sup Forums >t. >cunt >had to get a gook >on suicide watch >shart in mart >europoor >burger/amerishart There, you have the bulk of it

Mi estintece varbis ĉi tie sed nun mi samopinias kun vi. Tamen mi ankoraŭ ŝatas fekafiŝi ĉi tie fojfoje, ĉar ja ekzistas eta kvanto da esperantoparolantoj ĉi tie
Wyatt Ross
just speak english
Jacob King
Fekafiŝi en esperantujo. Kiel mi diris, ne estas bona ideo eĉ sciigi ilin pri nia eta komunumo. Nur manpleno da aĉuloj estas bezonataj por krei egan fekaĵon kontraŭ ni.

How do i go about learning Esperanto Any books? Youtube vids?

English is ten times harder than Esperanto, and it gives too much power to native English speakers.
an easy 12-lesson course created by some Brazilians.

Esperanto is a romance language, it gives too much power to native romance speakers.
Christian Martin
I forgot, Lernu.net is a great resource. Lots of grammatical explanations, a little community, and an amazing beginner course.

>tsk Sup Forums-uloj volas lerni Esperanton
Jen la fadeno kiun mi atentis longa tempe. Kie vi ĉiuj estis kiam mi preskaŭ ĉiutage faris Esperantajn fadenojn?
Wyatt Reyes
>volas ke ni spamu >tiel certe ili ŝatos nin
Varbu en apuda universitato. Tio estus pli fruktodona.

any language should be much easier than the Portuguese
It has many rules and standard cult language difficult to learn

Why do Esperantists look like cucks?
Tyler Green
What drives people to learn this language?
It seems like it's striving for what English already achieved long ago.
Benjamin Peterson
>Kie vi ĉiuj estis kiam mi preskaŭ ĉiutage faris Esperantajn fadenojn?
do, VI estas tiu aŭtismulo?

Esperanto looks and sounds like shit and it's being forced as a meme for no reason at all. Go fuck yourselves shilling this abomination and learn a real language
Ethan Nelson
I learned it out of curiosity/boredom when I was 14. I think most people who learn it are the type of person to study languages as a hobby, or they want to try learning it because it's supposed to be easy and they want to see if that's true.
I continued using it because it ended up being fun and interesting, I made friends using it, and it became integrated into my life.
As far as striving for it to be a widely-spoken international language...I think only outsiders and beginners are interested in this. Most people who speak it fluently tend to use it for similar reasons to mine. Friendships, travel, an interest in languages, that kind of thing. Some proponents of it as an auxlang do exist though.
I don't want to give you a tl;dr but I have had far more actual conversations with "rare flags" via Esperanto than I ever would via English unless I was specifically trying to.
Henry Foster
I already speak some "real" languages, and Esperanto works just as well to communicate as they do.
>it's being forced as a meme for no reason at all
People who advertise it too much are pretty annoying and an embarassment to the Esperanto speaking community t b h
thankfully it seems that doing that kind of thing is rapidly falling out of style and esperanto speakers are becoming more insular now
It's hilarious how some people become irrationally angry when they hear the word "Esperanto".
Malamantoj malamos.

What makes Portuguese so hard?
Ian Cox
You're confusing anger with pity
Esperanto autists are sad as bronies.

>I have no idea what I'm talking about, but let me give my ignorant opinion
Bentley Young
Because there are many rules and almost all have EXCEPTIONS
only rule that has no exception: all proparoxytone is marked
Portuguese studies the life and does not learn half
Ayden Richardson
Literally everyone from every country: >my language is hard as fuck, no foreigner will ever speak it properly, even natives make mistakes
Hudson Young
>with dedication, you can learn it in three weeks >dedication I'll try learning it, sure
Jackson Gomez
this. I know dutch people who claim dutch is the most difficult language in the world because they themselves make small mistakes in the standard dialect.
Jackson Reed
Gabriel Watson
No you guys are definitely like bronies. Also it seems you spend more time jacking off to how great Esperanto is instead of talking to each other.

Esperanto speaker here. He's right, just look at verdachan, it has mlp and furries and autists. Then again, it has basically the same demographic as Sup Forums.
My personal reason to learn it was that I already know English and wanted to learn Spanish, then came across Esperanto and read that speakers who had 1yr of esperanto + 3 yrs target language had better comprehension than 4 yr students who had just started with the target language. The reason for this is that its simple grammar and intuitive word formation lets you dive straight in and get you used to the process of language learning. I fell in love with it and it has been two years since I've started. I can speak it pretty well conversationally and its vocabulary makes it a particularly great primer for learning Spanish.
