How common are these in Japan?
How common are these in Japan?
just in large cities like osaka or tokyo
you would not see them in the smallest provincial towns
I want this.
comfy coffin
It's honestly a pretty good idea. If you're only using your hotel room for sleeping in anyway and are by yourself, why pay upwards of $100 a night at a 3 star hotel when you can pay a fraction of that for one of these capsule hotel rooms?
Coffin race
It's a gimmick.
Imagine fucking there.
comfy
Ive been in them. They're fine.
I've always thought this would be a good way to help the homeless, have these well policed and available to anyone who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets along with support from therapists and educators.
Honestly don't too shabby of an idea.
It's not like they're getting rid of conventional hotels. It's just that not everyone wants the whole deal. Some people simply want a place to sleep in.
The only fear would be suffocation, since I'm slightly claustrophobic
Not very common actually
They are mostly for students and foreign travelers on vacation and tight budget.
Or sometimes business persons who are provided with a standard hotel room money from the company for business trips but stay in one of those pet transport cages to spare a bit of money for something else, or who missed the last train in big cities getting drunk.

Now imagine that without proper public transportation infrastructure and instead stuck with B-grade western city transit where 95% of the population use a car to commute.
>This is the place where wage-slaves live together.

Basically what happened when Cortes first saw Tenochtitlan
It would be somewhat similar, but the comparative scale drastically through the roof. You could see Tenochtitlan and be awed by the architecture and volume of people, but still comprehend it as a city alike to those in Europe. But seeing this city from such a high angle and still pushing past the horizon would be nigh incomprehensible.
You're not allowed to be noisy in those
Don't worry, he'll only be a minute.
