What happens here?

What happens here?

In b4 patriotic colombian.

watch narcos to see

GOAT country of the whole continent

attacks

Hot women I've been told

Also hot trannies.

Drugs, crime, debauchery, narcissism, stupidity, unlimited corruption, apathy, cruelty, laziness, mediocrity, selfishness, irresponsibility,,,,

It's a powder keg. Hell on earth

B-but you have Uribe

Anyway, are you planning on moving somewhere else?

Autistic poster that wants white bois to fuck colombian women

Yes dont come here. This is 4th world, we are worse than Subsaharan Africa.

>Uribe
>Fixing anything

Lmao! He's only good at being literally worshipped by deranged politicians

Uribe is our last gleam of hope in the midst of perpetual darkness

ahh yes, Narcos reflects whats happening right now

not really

Nothing interesting. It's basically Brazil in a smaller scale, but much more boring

reconciliation, hope for the future, construction of peace.

We should be one

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaajjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj

This just feels so wrong.
What do Colombians think of it?

it's better than having meme war against narco (see México) don't you think?

40 % of people support it, 25% doesn't according to today's survey.

I Unironacally think it is positive. Sure farc will have 10 seats in congress and will be able to create their own political party and presidential candidate if they want but they are highly unpopular in this conservative country. Most people are right wing in some way or another. It'll be at least 20-30 years until they get elected

Many refugees come here from Colombia We have the highest number of refugees in South America and almost all of the are colombians.
I hope with the recent peace talks with FARC things get better. They deserve it

Agree but people growing drug crops won't stop existing anytime soon even though there are incentives to grow legal crops and the government does airplane fumigation from time to time

There are lots of Ecuadorians here as well m8

I'm curious, is it cocaine still your biggest drug business? and in that case, is legalization including cocaine or just marihuana?

Not that im complaining about colombians here. They're mostly in towns near the border

Coca, they leave it all on Parintins and on the "festa do boi" you can buy the purest cocaine for a low prize.

Lurk moar on your country, newbrazilian.

yes, we're the main producer of that stuff. I think we even surpass Peru and Bolivia combined. Legalization only includes Marijuana, which is already legal for medical purposes and the personal dose for recreational use. Coke is illegal but weirdly enough it is legal to carry the personal dose without consequence of getting arrested

...

Heroin is also a big export of Colombia they supply all of the US actually besides some southern states that get it from Mexico

wtf

What happens in the colombian islands that are really close to Nicaragua?

San Andres and Providencia Islands. They're full of Argentinians, Chileans and mainland colombians. The inhabitants from those islands are bilingual. They speak Spanish and English similar to that of Jamaica

>Sharing the country with filthy peruANUS

LMAO!

Why does Colombia have more black people than other mainland Spanish speaking country?

paisa

there are a lot of gold mines on the pacific and the spaniards brought slaves to exploit them

What's your national dish? Is it bandeja paisa?

WE

Yes, Sancocho (a soup) and arepas (they look like a thicker tortilla made out of corn but with a different texture) are eaten everywhere too

not really, almost Hispanic American countries have a black minority of 5 to 10% of the population (Costa Rica, Uruguay, Honduras, etc), or more (Panama etc).

HORO

nope, 95% of the heroin supply of the US comes from Mexico. Heroin isn't produced much in Colombia anymore.

at the same time, heroin production in countries like Afghanistan or Myanmar is like 100x that of Mexico.

Why aren't you leftists ?

Aren't Ecuadorians more indigenous?

>hooking
>camwhoring
>cocaine
that's literally it

Gran Colombia when?

No thanks!

Yes, although not as much as peruvians

politically speaking this is one of the most leftist countries of the Americas, with gay marriage and adoption, euthanasia, abortion partially decriminalized, etc.

Colombia being right wing economically speaking is a meme. The country has a mix of free market and protectionist policies. Colombia is arguably the less free market of the four Pacific Alliance members (Chile, Peru and Mexico being the other 3). Santos gives free housing to hundreds of thousands of people, such thing doesn't happen in any other LatAm countries other than Venezuela. Other countries subsidize housing, but don't give it for free.

mmmm that doesn't sound that bad

qt boys

When the population in Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela become mainly of colombian descent. Colombians have been going to venezuela since the 70s due to the oil boom and I'm sure they'll go back once things go back to normal. Supposedly 1/3 of venezuelans descend from colombians and there are loads of colombians in Panama and Ecador as well. It will take centuries to even consider reannexing them 2bh

How did you guys like the depiction of Colombia in Narcos?

> Supposedly 1/3 of venezuelans descend from colombians

yeah... no.

I hate the CIA guy playing the "American hero" thing.
The series is not as good as many people think. The actual story of Escobar is much better.

Would you fight to death each other if i give you 300 pesos?

i love Narcos. especially the isolated blonde gringo

More than 5 million colombians have gone there since the 1950s mate and there are 30 million venezuelans. Do the math

I'm not really sure as I was born in the 1990s so I didn't live that era. I suppose it is accurate

Do you have any links to anything good? (I speak Spanish so it's ok)

>inb4 CHI

>300 pesos
No mate that is nothing. I will only be able to buy 3 chewing gums with that amount

Watch Escobar el Patron del Mal. It is available on Netflix. Not sure if it is on Netflix US though

> More than 5 million colombians have gone there since the 1950s
nah, that's an urban myth.

Colombian population in Venezuela always oscilated between 500-700.000 people in the 1971, 81, 91, 2001 and 2011 censuses.

I have that one from the library collection and I am watching. It is really good yet crazy how many supporters Pablo had.
Also, I like the paisa accent for some reason.

yeah he had many supporters back in the day. However I'm not a fan of how these series portray him as a hero

Those numbers don't add up, it'd virtually impossible that those numbers had stayed the same throughout decades considering venezuela has had many economic booms. 5 million (if ot more) is a reasonable number afer almost 7 decades

you sound like one of these butthurt Venezuelans making up numbers. The numbers come from the National Census, they are much more accurate than any estimation.

>it'd virtually impossible that those numbers had stayed the same throughout decades considering venezuela has had many economic booms

the country has been in constant decay since the 70s. during the 80s the economy shrinked like in many other LatAm countries (not Colombia). 90 was the "Caracazo". and why do you think they elected Chavez in 99?

7 decades dude. Go to Merida, Tachira, Apure or Zulia. Those states are basically colombia and their descendants need to be counted in millions

>the "but I know tons of Colombians puej" argument

whatever Chimpanzuelan immigrant. Bring me actual arguments the next time.

>Temer
>centro direita
Throw that in the trash and do it again, frog.

Colombians..

Escobar...only? Literally colombians are criminals.

Tener herencia española pesa mucho

No, nosotros no somos criminales como tu indígena

We did this in 1996, please do not fall from the same mistakes as we did, do not give impunity to those guerrilla members. When the war ended, many of those soldiers and guerrilleros ended commiting crimes and making our country even worse.

WTF

> It's basically Brazil in a smaller scale, but much more boring
and more violent and inhumane

>they are highly unpopular in this conservative country
You wish.

They may be unpopular as of now, but just wait they start feeding bread and circus to the riffraff in the form of charming socialist utopian populism and victimism. That, coupled with the thousands of evil subversive and fifth columnist scum dwelling in our universities, political and social institutions and everywhere else within our society is a recipe, a breeding ground for another Venezuela

Brazil has a slightly higher homicide rate than us since past year.
