I'm not saying that the U.S would lose a war with China, but believe me when I say that it would be fucking devastating.
I mean, the U.S spent close to 7 trillion dollars fighting rag-tag terrorist groups in 3rd world countries with under 45 million people and little military technology.
As much as I despise China and its Han Chinese population, I do have to say that a nation with a massive fighting-age population and relatively advanced military technology would probably dismantle the U.S.
Even if the U.S were to win, it would barely make it out alive, and this is assuming that Russia and North Korea don't swoop in and intervene.
