determine what transmit/receive protocol you will use first. this may be influenced by local availability. chances are you'll use either frsky or dsm2/x currently video receivers are hugely overpriced. don't fall for the ev100, screen size is too small to be useful. grab some box goggles instead use a rhcp antenna instead of a linear antenna, it's a constant 3dbi loss compared to cutting in and out from 0-18dbi loss
