You can disable Aero with a classic theme.

Generating thumbnails in a large folder full of images is not a trivial task. It has to be slow, relative to your hardware of course.

Are you talking about disappearing thumbnail caches? That's a bug introduced in the 1709 update AFAIK.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

what I can already confirm is that it is some type of caching, didn't really notice it but after it goes through the directory once, following opening works perfectly. So yeah it's most likely the thumbnail diseappearance bug

I don't think that you nigger, I don't mind fancy fag effects as long as I can disable them when I need.
Sometimes I need no vsync desktop to have the most possible low input-display lag. Not possible with Aero. IIRC impossible with 8 and newer. (I could rename dwm.exe and call it done but too much relies on the new touchscreen interface and the system became unusable without more hacks).

False. There are textures which disappear in GTA5 while running on Winblows 10. This does not happen on Win7.

seriously. the problems with win10 are not an exaggeration. all the issues i've ever had with current pc started with the upgrade. my hdd got fried, it started freezing after waking, my old mic became too quiet, random games getting deleted from steam. what a retarded OS.

You can't be this clueless... every major new Windows 10 release is essentially a new version of the OS, and creates that folder.

I didn't know that, I don't use the OS... I see "Creators Update" "Fall update" etc. Never knew it would do that.
