Bug on Intel CPU's

>bug on Intel CPU's
>AMD drops prices
Why are they making it impossible for me to buy Intel without feeling like a retard? Just give me a small discount to mitigate the performance impact. I've been waiting so long to build an x299 + i9 system.

Just go with Ryzen you mong.

...

What does it matter, be a good sheeple and buy a processor, any processor

>wanting to buy intel
also
>intel
>discount
i won't be rude

I want to use hackintosh. Ryzen hackintoshes are shit.

>Expecting price drop or discounts for Intel products

but ryzen is still less powerful than coffee lake

Buy a real Mac then.

Real macs can't house 1080Ti's

Because you are unironocally a retard if you're still buying Intel, it's only natural if you feel that way.

Why do you wanna use hackintosh? For what purpose?

I'd even chosen my RGBshit board, I waited for an announcement at CES but Krzynasfsfsic just meme'd about VR and self driving and other techs-du-jour ;_;

I want the upgradability of a PC without giving up on dicks

I don't want to switch to a shitty DE and disrupt my workflow. I'd rather stay with my 3770K in that case.

the win 7&8.1 updates come out today, right? I know that the manual ones are out already, though
I have to put up with my cpu until ryzen2 drops

Buy used then? There should be a bunch of people dumping their intel builds on ebay since the news came out.
Just keep the mobo/CPU, pair it with a new PSU etc.

Don't forget that Kaby Lake was a shit release.

I've been monitoring ebay (because even new ones are cheaper there as I live in the UK and some people bring shit from the US without paying the import duties) but people haven't started dumping yet. Maybe it's more apparent on lower end processors

You're looking at the wrong place, over hundred thousand of proliants and poweredges have been dumped to ebay in the last few days.

>Because you are unironocally a retard if you're still buying Intel, it's only natural if you feel that way.
I want to believe, but nu/g/ has been brand-whoring for a while, have been wrong about way too many things.

>wait for Intel NUC with AMD iGPU
>$999+RAM+M2 SSD
fuck those jew niggers.

Hmm maybe. Xeons don't work with x299 though, I'll need to find a way to work with the server mobo.

Why care so much about what Sup Forums shills or not? Did you read the Meltdown paper?
Intel fucked up big time. This is a fact, not an opinion. You can either use the power you have as a customer and stop buying products from such a shit company, or keep sucking their dicks. Your choice.

Oy

It's not sucking their dicks, I'm giving them another chance, evryone can make mistakes.

Stockholm Syndrome.

Holy shit get a grip.

Lmao, Intel was a shitty company before this. Buy Ryzen
t. 6700k owner

Buy a Mac and a thunderbolt 3 eGPU.

It's not really a mistake when they have been sitting with the hardware "bug" knowledge for god knows how long.

>Why are they making it impossible for me to buy Intel without feeling like a retard?

Because only a retard would buy intel. Why the FUCK would you pay MORE for buggy garbage when you can have Ryzen?

Why would you buy buggy garbage x when buggy garbage y is available?

fuck me I'm glad this all came to light before I decided to upgrade. Is Ryzen solid if I want to emulate games and do autocad stuff?

Can someone explain why this is affecting AMD, Intel, and ARM? Is this an issue with x86, or some speculative caching spec? If they all have the same issue there must be a bigger architectural problem??

Yes and yes.

>what inturds would have us believe

Ryzen in fact is superior for workstation loads like autocad, with threadripper being the clear leader and almost 1/3 the price of the intel equivalent.

A lot of modern CPU designs have overlooked that the state of their caches can be (ab)used to infer the content of protected data.

Yes. Ryzen is good enough. Pic related.

Not AMD. Anyone implying otherwise is an idiot or a shill.

It's still fucking hilarious that you have to be physically, and I mean physically access the computer in order to get the other spectre vulnerabilities to apply to AMD. Like any 300 pound basement dweller is going to get off his ass.

No you don't. Such a mistake is unforgivable.
Intel has fucked up. Let AMD or whoever the fuck else take its place, hoping they never make the same mistake.

yikes

Get gnu/Linux and try lxqt/the elementary is thing/deepin/some cool r/unixporn rice/kde out.

...

What does it have to do with politics, you stupid fuck?

then fuck off
