Why didn't you switch to GNU/Linux yet?
Why didn't you switch to GNU/Linux yet?
Sticking to Plan9.
Because there is no decent DE and a general lack of cool software
GNU nano is great.
every man should by right own a niggra slave
games
Need Windows for .NET assignments in college and gaming
but I am on linux
I just dont have asperger to call it strange names for no reason
I'm already on it and it's great
The fingerprint reader on my notebook doesn't work in Linux and I have a problem with trackpoint sensitivity that I can't solve.
Otherwise, I would have switched long time ago...
Too much of a brainlet to handle kernel compilation errors when enabling GPU driver support.
wifi adapter works well, except it d/c constantly unless I ping my router every 20s, and then it d/cs every 30mins.
Too much hassle, I got shit to do.
A shame, really, since mint's ui looks good enough to replace windows for normies, possibly finally ushering the YOTLD.
Why use a DE when you can use a WM ?
I did
You do realize that gentoo on laptops is a meme, right? You shouldn't compile your own kernel on mobile
>bad driver support for older hardware (catalyst 13 amd
>xorg is a fucking mess and wayland is immature
>no gaems
>no photoshop
>ugly font rendering
>bad mouse handling
>1000 distros to choose from
>40 package managers
>everything is fragmented
>If a program doesn't exist for your distro you need to ... compile it (ugh)
I went to Linux 7 years ago.
Now I can't stand using Windows thanks to the horrid font rendering and Pajeetsoft doesn't even care.
Also Windows doesn't have anything that compares to Kwin.
Why use a WM when you can use the terminal?
I don't understand why would one use a wm instead of a de. I tried many wm, I loved i3 and openbox but the compatibily problems in basic applications make it so uncomfy.
My setup is a a browser surrounded by terminals to be honest
Back to you fucking soibois.
>general lock of cool software
such as?
I haven't had enough vaccines to get in the right state of mind to use linux.
But I did tho.
>neofetch.png
Because I have actual work to do instead of wasting time fixing broken shit.
There's tons of industry standard business software on Windows that have no equal alternative on Linux.
