WEB 1.0 WEBSITES

Are there any websites you visit that don't rely on CSS frameworks and shit? IS it even possible to design a good looking site that runs well on mobile just with plain CSS?

What about websites with a ton of of fluid, perfectly optimised first-party js and responsive design done right, gong with the spirit of web 2.0 - user-made or user-curated content, while looking web 1.0 as fuck complete with tiny "pixel art" sharp icons and tables with minimal wasted space?

Search engine for 1.0 sites. Highly worth hitting the random site button for a couple hours. All sorts of good weird shit.

I still think that sort of design is where websites hit a good balance between usability and prettiness
