well you're not getting cucked on memory
no lie apple does make nice devices
if you literally just want a buttery smooth experience the iPhone is for you
if you're going to be bothered by not having full HD, you want to put 900 hours of music on the thing/ want to add an SD card or you run linux, consider the redmi
also consider how you want to unlock the phone, fingerprint scanners are strange things, some folks swear by the front, some folks wont buy it unless its on the back
ultimately you may want to consider which economy you want to get into. if you're going to spend a lot of money on for-pay apps and then switch platforms later nothing will transfer, you'll have to buy everything again.
also, if you're computer cannot run the latest iTunes, you won't be able to do anything regarding non-Over The Air updates with iOS, where normally everyone recommends you just do a full wipe and then install the new version fresh to avoid OS bugs/slowdown, you'll have to use the device's inbuilt upgrade feature. a 32 bit toaster from 2009 will handle android
if you can physically get your hands on both of them you may just want to decide which you like more
if you want to customize your desktop, a droid root is far more reliable than waiting for iOS to get jailbroken and then making sure you're on an appropriate version, the tradeoff is Apples are harder (impossible) to steal when set up properly, if that's any consideration for you
I'd lean towards the droid myself, if you do, make sure you buy a 9H screen protector for it off of amazon or where ever
the iPhone basically doesn't need one unless you carry sharp metal or maybe your keys in the same pocket, but you may just as well slap one on there anyway
t. just moved from a 5S to a droid after 4 years
