Feeling better that I moved to Linux each and everyday.

>using a package manager in windows
are you retarded?

>not using a package manager in windows
no u

you don't need a package manager if you don't use packages, meaning you are either a gaymer, or an adobe slave

>you don't need a package manager
that's right, you just use the installer you fucking hipster and/or linuxfag

enjoy manually looking for updates, then manually downloading installers and manually running them to update dozens of packages

meanwhile i just type "choco upgrade all" and that's it.

WINKEKS BTFO HOW WILL THEY EVER RECOVER?!?

While enjoying ads.

they can use a package manager with ads

I misread that and thought you said "a package manager with aids"
to be honest, that's probably also true.

kek

>advertises themselves
Not that it matters. Packages in NPM can do console output while being installed. Enjoy your UNCONTROLLED ads.

Nobody here use npackd?

I just looked up what this is.
It's a package manager...
for javascript...
npmjs.com/

Fuck this gay earth

It's much older than chocolatey. What are you on about?
The only problem is how every javascript dependency pulls nearly all other javascript libraries into your project resulting in picture.

Or this.
Ironically, Windows 10 has fixed the max filename length issue, but you have to enable it yourself by editing the registry.

Help poor kids in Uganda.

Looks like Arch managed to sneak some ads inside the manpage for Pacman, time to move to Gentoo

I thought people with aids used Apple?

>Bugs? You must be kidding; there are no bugs in this software.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

>brainlet
install wizard
>average middle class
copy bundle.app
>affluent intellectuals
yarn

...

>chocolatey
This is why programmers are sometimes ham planets.

>isntalling chocolatey
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHHAHAHHAHAHAHA

you have any other package managers for windows in mind?

>windows package manager
how many layers of abstraction is that?

Packet manager for windows is autistm.

But are dey wey?

The whole problem with the Chocolatey model is that it's commercial by nature.

One thing that really irks me is how out of date a lot of the packages are.

You're problably better off just writing a batch file to automate installs.

This. OP is a faggot

>enjoy manually looking for updates
Huh? Most (if not all) of the software I have installed does that automatically. What decade is this?

What legitimate uses are there for Windows other than gaymen/Adobe shit?

Ads in the CLI? Please tell me this isn't true.
