as of right now Opera Dev is better
shame all those talented wizards lost their jobs to transvestites at FF

Switched from chromium. Works like wonder on my wodden PC, most plugins are updated already.

>most plugins are updated already.

still waiting for VLC Youtube Shortcut and Element Hiding to update before I make the switch

Fucking thing sucks!

Quantum was the last straw. When that shit came out half of the pages wouldn't render properly, it is super slow (even though some people say its fast) and as soon as you resize your window, everything turns to shit with components all over the place without any order

I had to switch to opera and so far I love it.

>inb4 install spyware or use chromium

>Element Hiding
ublock origin has that built in

it never was

Yes.

>Opera
Why do we care about another Chrome skin?

chinese botnet chromium skin, no thanks

unused RAM is wasted ram,RAMlet

>When that shit came out half of the pages wouldn't render properly, it is super slow (even though some people say its fast) and as soon as you resize your window, everything turns to shit with components all over the place without any order
None of that is true. Well, except for the part about people saying it's fast, because that's a massive understatement really.

ublock supports an element zapper already

built-in VPN and all that jazz, mostly for poor people who don't understand what a VPN does

Yes. Install waterfox or pale moon

quantum was actually the first improvement since 3.6 but yeah it's still shit.

Hmm, might make the update then...eventually.

Though VLC Youtube Shortcut is too practical for me to tip me over the edge.

That cpu usage tho.

56 is also shit in memory leakage, but I suspect it's the fault of Sup Forums x

you can use this instead
addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/send-to-mpv-player/

That CPU usage is bullshit, it's obviously a rogue tab acting up. I've never seen anything like that otherwise.

But shitty Sup Forums memes aside, nobody actually wants that garbage.

If breaking Sync every other week is better, it's your opinon...

>mvp

D R O P P E D

why not? it's highly customizable and works perfectly out of the box.

what feature is mpv missing in your opinion?

The most important one of all: not being autist-only.
It's a very tricky feature to implement sometimes, though.

so you don't actually have any reason to dislike it, gotcha.

Nah im liking it more than chrome, which seemed to start sperging out for me where as firefox is working beautifully

Well there's also the minor detail that this:
>and works perfectly out of the box
Isn't true at all. But I'm sure that's not important...

it plays any video file or stream i throw at it, what more do you need ootb?

I still use FF v56.0.2, and I am NOT GONNA UPGRADE IT. At least not until the new fox brings back the smooth native tab design feature. Or allows users to customize it. Because the new "tab boxes" seem so bad.

Even more, performance issues too. I have more than 300 tabs open, and the new fox, after installing it, was laggy as fuck. Talk about "new engine performance boost" - you can't even make good transition to new version.

use esr or enjoy your security holes noob

This, waterfox isn't as resource heavy

FF mobile is garbage that will crash with three tabs open on a one gb phone.

I switched to Brave and that problem went away. Also no fucking ads.

Image unrelated.

>Security holes
>On new-generation javascript on a 2017-version browser

enjoy your false sense of security

Yes.

Nah, it's not the same.

This.
t. running Waterfox and will never look back to the Quantum shitfest

paid antishill

I personally use Quantum because I can't be bothered to use a fork. Whichever one has the security patches works for me. And since I hear waterfox and those others have security fixes too, I'd say they're all worth using. Unlike a console warrior from Sup Forums, there's no use arguing over whose web browser is better. The point is that we should all have the freedom to choose between them, and I'm glad we're allowed the discourse to do so.

>there's no use arguing over whose web browser is better
Right, because Quantum >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> *
