Why has no one decompiled Windows 7?

Why has no one decompiled Windows 7?

because Microsoft will sue them for ((((((((((intellectual property violation)))))))))) and forced them to pay a shiton of money for their ((((((((((intellectual property violation)))))))))) and ((((((((((loss))))))))))

what if someone do this in China ?

What would that accomplish, exactly?
You know, there's been a shitload of improvements to the desktop since Windows 7, but all Sup Forums can talk about is its dumb botnet meme.

>intellectual property is bad
>everyone should be able to see the inner workings my hard work for free, without permission
You have to go back
>>>r/socialism

Or Europe?

>"""improvements"""
that's how you caall mobile shit ported to desktop? fucking retard

Intellectual property is a communist/jew idea.

Any and all property is socialist by definition, as it requires government to enforce (sorry, ancaps). But intellectual property is literally a legal fiction with no real-life basis. It's made out of thin air.

>Sup Forums
>Not in favor of the GPL license
You go back, even the sticky is a pic of RMS

The list of features added in 7->8 alone is large enough to upgrade without a second thought... if you haven't been irrationally terrified into not doing so.

7->10, especially for free, is something everyone should have done years ago.

>everything I do not like is a communist/jew idea

>t. microsoft shill
everything above windows 7 is shit

The GPL should have been outlawed long ago.

Even people at Microsoft don't fully understand the legacy code found in Windows.
There is retarded shit like the Windows kernel handling scrollbars in Explorer.
The best thing Microsoft could ever do is start with a clean slate and create a new OS from scratch.

>7->10, especially for free, is something everyone should have done years ago.
t. Salty Nutella

of course you have rights to your intellectual property
but not for so fucking long !
the ideal system would be to register your intellectual property for 7 years (with negligible fee) with a possibility to extend this period further by one year (for increased fee each time you would extend it)
this system would guarantee that devs would have to develop new better software each decade or so (and fans would improve older soft)
present ststem is stangant

So I take it you're never going to upgrade your hardware again, right user?

Or at least not after 2020.

So you're actually happy you're being forcefed shit by Microsoft and you're gleeful that they're going to force everyone else too?

>hardware
windows is not hardware
>Or at least not after 2020
why? it's not like everything will stop working on windows 7 after 2020
if they actually do something to force me, i will just jump ships to linux, i would rather eat that shit

If it gets morons like you to at least use LTSB (which you can get absolutely all the crap out of pretty easily, including 100% of the telemetry), then it's worth it for sure. Though I don't like it.

I'm not talking about security patches. Windows 7 will not boot on new PCs made after 2020, period.

Why not use Linux now?

>China
Chinese government will recruit them into their cyberarmy,in exchange they provide protection
>Europe
and fines from EU

This. Fucking Disney making IP law last for 70 years after the creators death and are already working to extend it further by 2020

>Why not use Linux now?
because windows 7 is better in every single way for me
i would only change to linux if i was forced to use windows 8/10

Because ReactOS exists. Go contribute to it, OP.

>security patches.
don't install security patches ?

>Windows 7 will not boot on new PCs made after 2020, period.
why ?
that was my point

>why ?
Because its support for UEFI is incomplete, and it only "works" on new PCs right now because they haven't fully eliminated BIOS yet.

>everything above windows 7 is shit
absolutely agreeeeeee

what ? uefi will stop me from putting a fucking CD and installing windows 7 ?
how ?

Because it will not boot...

How do you think Microshaft broke into the market, exactly? And beyond that how do you think the market works? If you're filling a vacuum, and especially in industrially oriented software, once that shit is integrated it will stay, figuratively, forever. Look at the mess SAP is an yet it's still the industry standard. Same with Microshaft Wangblows and Steam. If IP law didn't exist all of these things would be the same, the companies would make the same amount of capital they do now, with the exception of shit like pharmaceuticals, and even then they'd still be making money hand over fist due to the nature of their products.

i'm a brainlet explain this for me user
please ?

Stop asking question goy. Leave Windows 7 alone. Upgrade upgrade upgrade.

b-but /pol told me that i should't trust you Mr Shekelberg

7 will work just fine as long as the CPU is using the x86 architecture. Stop listening to that incompetent fuck.

but isn't all new cpu's capable of using x86 architecture ?

>
>Intellectual property is a communist/jew idea.
Intellectual property is an extension of property and is therefore on the opposite way of communism, it's rather the paramount of rent seeking capitalism.

...

Because it's such an incomprehensibly dense collection of spaghetti code, not even fucking Microsoft knows how most of it works. Parts of it have been reverse engineered and adapted into projects like ReactOS and Wine, however.

>freedom to explore intellectual property is communism
>IP itself is communism
you're all communism
