1ST FOR CUX

This is on sale for $329

Should I?

Nokia to unlock bootloader when? I won't buy their phones if they don't do this. And I really, really would love to buy their phones.

LG G6 32GB or Huawei Honor 9 64GB?
The Huawei costs 30 euros more.

I just got an XZ Premium and the screen sometimes doesn't register touches, what gives? Anyone have the same issue?

>mediakek

...

Daily reminder to not buy Huawei phones outside of Europe and chinkland otherwise you'll never get updates ever again.

Has Lenovo done anything shady on Motorola phones since it bought the division?

That's where you're wrong...

xda-developers.com/huawei-oreo-emui-8-pro-9i-7x/

Currently have a Moto X Pure. Where do I go from here.

See

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_2#Issues

how the fuck is it acceptable to charge $650-950 for this pos, and why are retards buying it again?

"Some Pixel 2 XL devices were shipped to consumers without an operating system, rendering them unusable."

"Some units suffer from Bluetooth connectivity issues." (+ no headphone jack)

"Some of the USB-C to 3.5mm adapters for the headphones do not work. In some cases, rebooting the phone can fix the issue temporarily. Google is offering replacements for the faulty adapters."

"Hundreds of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners have been complaining of high-pitched and clicking sounds coming from the phone"

+ a fuckton of display issues

screen protectors, yay or nay

Kryo 260 vs Cortex-A53 which one is better in terms of energy effiecently?

Jesus christ yes.

If the screen is flat and you're REALLY scared of scratches/breaking. Sure. If it's curved, there's no point unless you wanna keep replacing the protector after a few weeks.

Yay

just took 3 hours and calibrated my pixel 2 xl

who wants the rgb values?

fixed the high gamma

>Snapdragon Note 8s forced to 80% maximum battery life when rooted

Fuck it I'll just embrace the bloat

Because (((LG))). I don't know why anyone would purchase a phone from them considering their horrendous quality control and bootloop history.

>>Snapdragon Note 8s forced to 80% maximum battery life when rooted
I feel even more justified in never buying a Samshit phone again.

the fuck are you on about user

The one otherwise decent root method for Snap N8s, SamFAIL. Due to the boot.img used for it, the battery life is capped at 80%. Because Samsung

Moto G6 Plus when?? Hoping for USB-C and not fuckhueg bezels. Will be an instant buy if so.

I'm interested

Oh, you want USB-C? No headphone jack for you

...

It was less an attack on Motorola and more of a projection of frustration on the procedural developments of smartphones in general

Still using Xperia Z1 Compact, great build quality and snappy performance and battery life. Don't see why I would want to upgrade except for a fingerprint scanner

i9300 owner here, should I go for Lineage OS ?
I'm looking for a stable experience. My phone has been sluggish for quite some time now even when using the most simple applications. I don't plan to game or anything too demanding, just daily internet surfing, phoning and messaging.
Can I expect performance improvements ?

If it still works for you great, luckily the xz1c is great too so if you ever have to/want to upgrade you have something worthy

Femanon here

Pixel 2 is a triumph of marketing over functioning. All these press reviews slobbering over it even though it is a buggy piece of shit

I am replying to this message so I will remember that you said that. The only thing that stuck in my head so far was some reviewer on a beach talking about how "this phone will change the way we think about battery life" cause of how long it supposedly lasted.

Read the thread bro

forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/orig-development/official-lineageos-14-1-i9300-t3544531

That'll give you your best look at what it'll be like. You generally do a lot better than the bloat samshit puts out, but newer versions of android expect more resources like ram, so sometimes that can eat into your gains.

>2,700
How the fuck are they impressed with that battery? Call me when it has a 10k

It's not the size, brah. It's how you use it.

I still want a 10k size battery phone
that actually works on carriers in USA
Because it's a Google phone. It gets put under the microscope and every issue gets overblown.

If you're buying a flagship today you would be retarded not to pick the Pixel 2.

Buy moto z play and battery mod.

>moto z play
Please tell me this shit isn't a meme. It looks too good to be true.

Nope, gets a lotta love. If you're cool with 1080p it's a solid choice.

Had the Pixel 2 since November, it did have the high pitched noise, but it was literally fixed out of the box with the November security update.
Other than that, everything has been working stellar

Even my monitors are that so it's completely fine. Are they going to continue selling mods or will it be discontinued eventually? I'd like to get the phone in a couple months then later down get a battery pack mod.

The mods aren't just for one device, they work on the whole line, so there's a good chance of them sticking around for a while. They definitely seem to have learned a lot from watching the lgg5 fuck up.

>lgg5
What's wrong with it? Also thanks!

lmgtfy.com/?s=d&q=lg g5 problems

But seriously, the G2 was probably shit, the G3 had several issues including bootloops, same with the G4, the G5 is shit, why would people buy LG today?

>lmgtfy has duckduckgo now
I love you.

Are there any keyboard phones coming out in Europe? Perfectly horizontal but vertical layout works too. I'll take anything at this point

autist

You must be at least this much autistic to post on this board.

The Premium version uses a Snapdragon processor.

tfw worried about moto fuckups now

Why didn't you order a mi a1 Sup Forums

Can't deal with the garbage Xiaomi build quality after using a Mi5 for 6 months. Never again.

You don't have to open up the phone to attach a mod, they have good mods instead of expecting kickstarter to come up with something, and the mods work across multiple present and probably future devices instead of one blobby looking phone that nobody bought cause it was inferior to all its competitors. They're off to a pretty good start.

This is the future. I hope.

>Xiaomi 4X

A little heftier and unwieldier than the Xiaomi 4, but it's a great phone at a great bargain, I simply love it! Everything is smooth AF and no trouble with any apps or anything I've downloaded ever. So happy with this phone.

t. not a shill

How much more batterylife I can expect 2600 mAh vs 2840 mAh?

Is Axon 7 still good?

you really can't make a comparison like that between phones just based on the battery capacity, because there's so many other variables affecting the battery life. What phones are you looking at?

That's just one issue out of the full list. All I see online are complaints with something breaking every update. One of the issues being phones restarting by themselves, which hasn't even bene fixed according to that wiki issue section.

Amen brother.
I just regret the lack of lineage os, but apart from that is a pretty solid phone.

I'm thinking of buying a Redmi 4x because the Note 4x screen is too big for my tastes, am I losing much?

I need an offline open-source poker app on Android, any suggestions?

Is the iphone se still worth in in 2018 Sup Forumsuys?

Imo just lineage os.
Of course theres the matter of performance but redmi 4x is already pretty solid.

wait for SE v2, you can buy the new one or OG SE for cheaper

>was gonna buy N8 next week
Wow what the fuck, what a dealbreaker
I assume it's only limited to Note 8s? I guess I'll go buy an S8+ instead

Just don't buy Snapdragon Samsung phones in general if you care about rooting.

The S8 and S8+ are where that practice started, user.

So basically N8 exynos is safe?

Same phone htc one m8.

Read my post again nigger.

Maybe but I would do the research first.

redmi note 4, nubia m2, nokia 5, lenovo p2, bb passport
which one Sup Forums?

Just get the Exynos Note 8 user

Around 10% better, if all else is equal

Moto Z Play is on sale for 270USD at B&H if anybody's looking to get one

Made som changes to my S8. What do you think?

Interesting. It has LineageOS support but that doesn't support Moto mods. Choices, choices.

Recomendations on a decent sub 5,5 inch, sub 200 euro phone?
im looking at the mi 5c, but the xiaomi processor trows me back a bit and the normal mi 5 would be too expensive(near 300)

Is BlackBerry Classic actually worth buying in current year? I just want a phone whit this keyboard layout and it must run clover, telegram and WhatsApp. Does anyone use it?
It's price dropped to 80~90€

How many people actually use the mods? They seem like overpriced gimmicks to me

No

>reddit on homescreen
>not clover
absolutely disgusting

what's everyone's thoughts on the iPhoneX for a casual phone user?

For me, I'm not a phone power user by any means. Just texting, email, browsing 4shit and leddit every day and using snapchat. What would be my best option, between the Note and this? I'd prefer to stick woth apple so I don;t have to deal with the hassle of getting off iMessage or get a new number.

pic unrelated.

Glass screen protectors from Amazon are chinky as hell

Do they at least work well?

like a 150 bux chinkphone would be all you need to have a good experience.

Waste of money. Get the 8.

>visit parents
>hey user look at this, my new iphone takes some really great live photos
>?
>shows me a short video
>that's a video
>ummm no sweety it's a live photo
>what's that?
>it's like many photos one after another, but with sound too
???
how the fuck does applel manage to pull this shit and still be in business

maybe because they tend to wall their customers into their ecosystem, without the customer knowing what they're missing out on? Perhaps, they implement most of their shit reliably from the first try? + iPhones still being a status symbol

It's on the Pixel as well, called motion photos.

>Have Nexus 6P
>Battery is fucked to the point where the phone turns off after 2 hours
>Take it to several phone workshops
>Technicians say that there's a high chance of the screen getting cracked whilst replacing the battery and they don't want to do it
>Screen costs about 170 EUR
>Changing battery for Nexus 6p costs ~250EUR

WTF?!

Should I just go for the cheapest available phone, if they don't last more than a few years and repairing them costs this much? What are my options Sup Forums?

fuck iphone x, get note 8

just get a new phone
