sure is one title that runs on epic's sponsored hardware better

And the 970 neck and neck with fury hahahaha

There is definitely something wrong here. as even the 1070 is better than liquid cooled vega 64. The pattern moves similarly for all amd cards, so you can be sure that there has been no optimization for them. Not that you, or anyone else for that matter, had one. They are all in a warehouse somewhere in China, farming coins, so why bother optimizing for them.

nvidia donating money to unreal engine so their cards are optimized better

>10 fps difference at more than double the required 60fps

God I hate benchniggers.

Epic games are fucking nvidia fanboys, they literally suck nvidia dick for a living, ofcourse their game runs better on nvidia, it's strange that AMD can even run the game cause half their games just randomly break all the time on AMD hardware. It's like if they tested their game on AMD cards, nvidia would stop giving them in the ass and epic games can't have that happen.

Last I check nvidia cheat on Mirror's Edge using low res shadow

I don't get how the R9 390 end up above the Rx 480 on that chart. Did they mess up their tests?

RX480 is just a die shrink with extra memory. Less power hungry but performs similarly.

It's obviously memory bound, look at RX480 with 4GB and 8GB, they are both there.

>console port in DX11
I bet le 3.5 is simply bugging out on some effects.

Rx 480 8GB has lower bandwidth than the R9 390?

It's amazing how well the 390 still holds up.

Hawaii has basically twice the hardware big polaris does.

nice damage control

>human can perceive above 100 fps

AMD hasn't been top of the charts in the GPU world for a while, last one I remember was up there was one of their crazy dual gpu ones and then nvidia tried the same retarded shit and beat them again.
They were always meant to be the best bang for the buck gpus but miners drove them so high it's just stupid to go with anything other than nvidia since you're paying almost a grand for any anyways.

where would my gtx 750 ti fall on that chart?

slightly above the bottom

I had a 390x for years it used 500watt+ stock and was slower than a 980 1060 and 580

Back in 2013-2014 the 290 was untouchable I had one but it was so loud and hot I sent it back.

Got a 1080 until prices stabilize and Volta comes out.

Shame and dropped the ball with Vega but given how shit fury and Polaris where I won't buy their cards ever again.

Navi could have Volta oc level performance for 300$$$ and I wouldn't care because their drivers and cards are so shit especially the thermal issues all I want is Nvidia to have some competition again.

Rtg hasn't been on the ball since 2012

Not even the msi 390x (which is the highest clocked hawaii card ever made) pulled that much.

Don't reply to bait

>tfw cardlet

Kill yourself back to Sup Forums.

Fuck I was missing the point NVM.
dunno really

tfw fell for the 8GB vram meme

my r9 390x has been pretty disappointing overall

there aren't even games that can utilise that much memory without going crazy with settings and then those games slow to a crawl

any game you push even up to 3.5GB+ will become very slow, not worth getting 8GB when the vram speed is so slow and the clockspeed of the card can't even keep up

yes they can

not even an amdrone but
>1080p
Only poorfags care about this resolution

>960 above 970
>"4"GB

erry tim

You're absolutely retarded. Cranking up texture quality has zero effect on framerate so long as you have the VRAM to handle it. The idea that the 390X has "slow" VRAM is fucking hilarious too. Its 512-bit bus means it has more memory bandwidth than a GTX 1080.

I'm just sharing my experience with using the card

Your experience doesn't reflect the objective nature of reality, so either your card is faulty, or you're just another shill.

to be honest I expected it to work the way you described but it just doesn't

>I reject reality and substitute my own

>whitepapers are reality and parses are fake

...

Can people with 390x post some furmark scores so we can compare

and people are still buying 1060 3GB

>3.5

970 is literally the best card of all time. It came out at during the perfect time period where graphics peaked.

Nah, the best graphics card of all time is the 980 ti. At 1600mhz it is just a hair less performance than the 1080. Me running my 980ti right now at only 1500mhz on an air cooler lets me play all my games at 4k 60fps high settings as long as I turn off AA, which is not needed at 4k. And its one of the few gpus which price is not affected by miners because of the low power efficiency, you can still get a used 980ti for around 350$, add an extra 80$ for a decent gpu water cooler for 1600mhz overclock. Truly the 8800gt of the 2010s.

lmao that's like saying the GTX 480 was the best card of it's time, you must have drank too much green koolaid kiddo

Starting the day right :)

It really is. Ive had it for 2 or 3 years, never once had an issue with the memory, and i paid 330 for it during its generation. Now a 1070 costs 800 dollars.
