Why is it cosy?

Mine is cosy because it's cramped, has a lot of old buidlings, a old town, castle, 13 lakes, marinas, trams and a lot of green places and trees.

The city itself is fine but the neighborhood I live in is a lower-middle class town near the refineries, so I live in a pretty shitty part of the city.

I generally like flats, but those look a bit odd. Think it's due to no other flats being in the vicinity, just that complex in the middle of wide open space, or so it looks.

My city has rural areas/tiny towns only around it so a lot of people move in while a lot of others move around it which causes the urban sprawl and new neighbourhoods getting build in the middle of nowhere, sadly.

It is smog. When it gets into dry season people start to burn empty lots with tall and dead grass/trash in the city to clean it out and in the outskirts of town there are a lot of plantations that people burn to clean it for the rainny season.
It isn't that smoggy the whole year tho, when the dry season is over and the rain starts it cleanses the air, but there are still high temperatures, sometimes even 40 ºC+, since the city is literally built into a hole between two plateaus.
