If more people start using it it will very quickly become utter shit. You can already feel a noticeable difference in speed depending on the time of day, if even a tiny fraction of the people who were using Batoto open the site it'd go up in flames.
It's also not an online reader and keeps track of new releases for you, so it's a lot less convenient

You can read online or download entire volumes or packs with a single click. It doesn't have extraneous functionality like recommendations or comments sections, but for simply going in, typing a title and start reading it couldn't me any more convenient.

That's good if you simply want to download a finished series, but for keeping up to date, especially with sporadic releases, it's terrible.
It doesn't need recommendations or comments or anything of the sort, but if it doesn't have any system that lets you easily keep track of a number of series you are following it's not really usable for ongoing series, even if scanlators would start directly uploading to it which obviously isn't going to happen either.
