though what I have noticed is that blond hair and light eyes is really rare in like texas/"aztlan" in general, not among the mexicans, but among whites, and it's probably been like that for a long time actually. so we've been assimilating mexicans for a while I guess, but it just takes longer to breed out the obvious differences. of course it makes us generally less white in the process but hey if it means peace and stability go for it.
