Well, I don't have any other ones to compare it too, but it does feel very nice in the hand, quite lose joints. The joints are effectively fake lego (I think Xiaomi makes other fake lego stuff) with the cure bits themselves obviously not resembling lego at all. You have to assemble it much like any other lego set.
It feels very nice in the hand, the pieces being sort of smooth and matte. If you're looking to buy one anyway, then I'd recommend.

just received one of pic related. overall its ok, some of the jaws do need some lubrication to get going (some metal dust/shavings fell from one after breaking it in), but since each of the engaging tips of the each jaw has like 1.5~1.75mm in diameter its completely out off the question for usage on small (< 1") snaps rings, since it cant fit the tiny engaging holes (even though the package claims 3/8" to 2"). the jaw retaining clip is quite nice though. for $3.5 i rate it an above average meh, still need to see if i can mod one of the jaws (two are clones) into something more useful, or find replacement jaws

Guys, I was looking at the SF30 from 8bitdo on aliexpress, and it looks really nice. Does anyone have any experience with it? Does it really work with the Switch? I just checked Ali, and some unofficial sellers have SF30 Pro for 35ish dollars, while the official store has SF30 (as in not pro) for 35.
