Why do you need an extension to use a VPN?

...

...

99% of the time I need VPN only in browser.

>99% of the time I need VPN only in browser.
That doesn't make fucking sense and is not how VPN's work. You use proxies for individual applications, such as your browser, so why not just buy a private proxy.

>Undo close tab button
what? why?

Is stuff like Smart HTTPS et al. even necessary anymore for Firefox 57+? Since Quantum Firefox always uses https by default for me on supported sites.

...

doing it through History takes too many clicks, this is just one button that opens up all the tabs I closed

whats wrong with ^T ?

the what now?

geez, do ppl not learn what ^ means?
SHIFT+CONTROL+T
literally, the "undo close tab" keycombo almost every fucking where?

yea but like this I get a list, so if I'm quickly closing out tabs and accidentally click a wrong one and another after it, I have to bring back 2 tabs

now that makes some sense...

Post your Android Firefox add-ons too.

Pale Moon. Not pictured is Cookies Exterminator, but it's disabled anyway. What am I missing?

Tfw I ruined my ESR install this morning because I didn't check muh slackpkg upgrade-all carefully enough. Fucking overwrote my history and all of my tabs.

...

Brainlet here, thanks for the info user, no more ctrl+h for me

How well does the dark background thing work?

Are you guys fucking retarded? No wonder I see all these "Firefox is slow" threads. You all clog your browser with a million shitty adons.

I highly recommend it. I've noticed it's been slightly slower after the FF57 Quantum update but overall it works as intended. There are a very few sites that might have some hiccups but it's worth it because my phone has an AMOLED screen.

>vpn

I'll give it a shot then. Don't have an AMOLED screen but it's pretty annoying to read nytimes at night with its white background and I'm too lazy to set up stylish on my phone.

And by the way user I don't think quantum has hit Android yet, even on nightly.

Wit why do you have Tampermonkey when you already have Violentmonkey? isnt one enough

What's a good reason to get tamoermonkey or violentmonkey?

That's not what ^ means, smartass.
^ is control

user, I..

Isn't using Privacy Badger with uBlock Origin redundant? I thought PB was the same thing but only blocked "bad ads", not all.

uBlock Origin
HTTPS everywhere

I don't give a fuck.

I've had this idea for a browser addon that seems pretty simple and intuitive, yet I haven't found anything that does it.

What it would do is, whenever you create a new bookmark, it would automatically throw it into a folder you previously set. Bookmarks could be assigned to folders based on URL, title, maybe URL or title of parent tab and maybe other shit too. It would be great if you could use regex when setting these parameters. It would be even better if each bookmark folder could have several parameters for accepting a bookmark, working in an AND/OR basis. Bonus points if the addon can do the same to new tabs being automatically assigned to previously set windows or groups.

Anyone knows of an addon like this?

Is there even a point in using Decentraleyes when uBlock and uMatrix are probably blocking CDNs anyway?

...

useful for when you need them enabled

Some sites may not function well if you block their CDNs, third-party services that may contain tracking and spyware inside them, like the ones from Google. Decentraleyes simply emulates CDNs as a form to make theses same dependent sites prevent to break themselves while not being tracked anymore.

In the end, Decentraleyes are necessary and useful.

I never heard of dotjs before. Googling it, it seems to basically be another Greasemonkey? What gives?

>Googling
Why not Startpaging?

why did you disable canvas blocker

Is Sup Forums X worthwhile?

Yes
It's a userscript though so use one of the monkeys to install it

Niggers, when will you start listening. Tumblr is great for porn. Why else would the other user want higher quality images? Not for SJW blogs, that's for sure. Use your noggins

Aren't you overoptimizing a bit? How often do you set bookmarks that you need to automate the process of choosing a folder for them?

Also, if you have a visible bookmarkbar, you should be able to drag the current url onto it or a folder in the bookmark bar to create a new bookmark.

Thanks, looks pretty good. Any essential settings I need to change? Defaults seem okay but there's a lot of settings to look through.

I never understood why sfm and blender animators used tumblr for porn, I find the site absolutely horrid to navigate and it takes way too many steps to find content.

Recently deleted HTTPS Everywhere. It's redundant.

...

>using a browser maintained by a 23 year old

enjoy your late updates and security flaws out the ass.

>https everywhere is redundant
>keeps both ublock and umatrix

;)

they serve different purposes.

When i open firefox it closes and reopens the window like 2 seconds afterward, don't know what i fucked on about:config.

You'd have to look through it yourself, but the most notable ones I can think of are new IP incidator and persistent thread watcher.

Maybe I'm overoptimizing, but that really would help me out quite a bit. More to the point, it feels like something very simple to code and implement (regex notwithstanding) that would see some use if only someone thought of it before.

Guess I'll have to look into cobbling such an addon together. I just saw someone's list here has Save Image In Folder, which is less complex than mine but an interesting alternative too, if I adapt it to bookmarks and/or tabs.

Eh, I use a bunch of privacy addons and crap, so Google isn't getting more than my dynamic IP. Probably. I hope.

>Undo close tab button
just press ctrl+shift+t you fucking mong

shut the fuck up you retard and look here

It gives you filesystem exposure of your injected scripts, and it doesn't require a massive annoying userscript header

If I want to inject a style rule into google.com, I just echo the rule to ~/.js/styles/google.com.css and it's there. Same with injecting javascript. It's very pleasant to use.

jesus christ your internet browser looks horrid

as a fellow tumblr masturbator i can agree with this

how autistic are you that that is a major issue you have to deal with? just ctrl shift t them all back and redo it

>just ctrl shift them all back

...

>hurr i just close shit super fast without even looking so i need a special extension to fix my autistic habits

>the browser's too shit to have a basic undo feature so I need an extension to add what should be stock functionality

...

Is there a way to get Firefox to show tooltips in the addon bar?

>so i need an extension to add what should be stock functionality
the functionality already is built in you fucking retard. Ctrl + Shift + T. Not everyone needs their fucking hand held because some people look at what their doing before they do it. You're the reason why browsers would ask "are you sure you want to close 3 tabs" when you click the x button. Fucking idiot. Fuck you.

>calling someone autist while autistically screeching on slav squatting board

Thanks mozilla employee!

Ctrl shift t can bring back multiple tabs if you keep pressing it

I'm pretty sure having both doesn't affect anything negatively, I think Privacy Badger and uBlock work differently in how they decide to block something in a way that having both makes sense. I have run both for forever and never run into any problems.

I could never get it to block ads, and it tanked my performance. Is it any better now? I wish this worked, so I could fuck over the botnet.
