if greenland is nordic then 3/4 parts of canada are also nordic since both the people and the geography are the same

Karelia is full of Russians now you mongrel, how is it Nordic

Genes aren't everything. Do you want to be part of Sweden too, you fucking goth?

The Russians are now thrown out. Finnic empire is real.

interesting

>Russians are now thrown out
>That WILL work out with no Problems!

Careful what you wish for, I can easily make America part of Norway on my autism map due to Viking discovery/Vinland. I'm autistic enough, you want to push it?

>Do you want to be part of Sweden too, you fucking goth?

>scotland
>greenland

in what way are they nordic?

Yes, it shall work just fine. We made NATO help us. You, the german people, contributed a great deal actually. Many thanks to you.

Hey,

There's a pretty good chance I'll be in Iceland for a while soon.

Anything I should know?

Katla might explode when you're there

Yes, I'm an Icelander posting with Norwegian flag, because we're part of Norway now (see map), and I recommend you to rent a car, and drive the ring road. You basically drive around the island. You'll see everything you're supposed to see as a tourist if you're willing to stop and use your legs a bit during this drive.

...

i always thought of nordic countries as north pole countries

...

Historie kjennes godt fåvæ

lol Even if Finns got their Greater Finland and all the Russians voluntarily left, the extra land would be empty because Finns can't impregnate their hands

Canada has viking settlements and we share a land border (of 1km) with Denmark.

Thus we are nordic.

>Murmansk oblast
>Not Norwegian

Ok, should I include you guys as part of the Norwegian nation? I was on the fence on that one when making the autism-map.

/skandi/*

One of the proposed name for Canada was Norland, we can be called that.

Vesperia, Ursalia and Efisiga were other proposed names.

You don't want to be called Vinland if you base it from the Iclandic-Norwegian Vikings who settled there?

Could. There was also Borealia which sounds cool and could make us hyperboreans.

Vinland is fine though.

Do you know about proposed flags? I only know the Vinland one, but that was designed like 1000 years after the settlement. What was the proposed flag for Norland?

If my last name is McKarov, am I allowed?

There arent. Most names other than Canada were not seriously considered so no flags are associated with them.

canadianaflags.tripod.com/canadaflagproposals.htm

These were all proposed flags.

Holy fuck...
Take a look at this beauty. For resons which I'm not quite able to pinpoint, this one was a real beauty. canadianaflags.tripod.com/flag11.jpg

Btw, would you suggest that a seperate area should be "Vinland", or do you think the entire Canada should be Vinland?

Is Estonia Nordic? They are quite depigmented.

is this nigger nordic?

No and neither is Finland. We're Finnic aka unique snowflakes.

Newfoundland at least since thats where the viking settled. Newfoundland is the actual Vinland.

As far as culture goes Quebec is actually the closest, personal space being important, no talking to strangers like other anglos.

So part of Quebec and Newfoundland.

The "wolf face" part of Canada I guess, kinda fitting.

We're not part of them linguistically but we still stand with them, no matter what.

>tfw
>scotland is not a country

You do it, if you please, I can not trust myself with the boarders you're talking about.

>personal space being important, no talking to strangers

As a Quebecer I don't think this is true at all. We're somewhat arrogant I guess being French people, but not introverted like Nordic. Nordics don't kiss each other to greet, for example. However we are Godless socialists so I guess we're somewhat similar there

>posting the edited pic

Holland is nordic

Exhibit A:

youtube.com/watch?v=9aV9w9S5WRA&feature=youtu.be&t=128

Exhibit B:

youtube.com/watch?v=W7Pv0toyWy8

Haha, sure why not.

However I don't understand Exhibit A.

I cant I am in my phone.

I don't either. Apperently it is some satirical show from denmark about a cycle-team sponsered by a condom brand. The guy with the blue hair is supossed to be dutch and only speaks english with a heavy dutch accent and dutch gibberish.

It hurts my ears to listen to him

I'm angry at you right now. Ok fine. I should just give it a shot myself, and you can tell me if I'm on point.

...

Nevermind the colour, you can pick your own. But is this somewhat the area you had in mind? If not, explain.

...

Kinda. You can use this for reference.

you beat me to it

Alright, I will make it happen. Colour though?

Nice. Are you sure you wanna be pink? Perhaps you could be Orange instead of Scotland.

>No antarctica
Netherlands confirmed for not nordic, shit map

that would be more fitting.

Purple is fine. Its regal.

Estonia and Livonia is ought to be with us or independent.

You're so greedy, don't you have enough already? I'll consider it. Poor Swedes and their empire feels tho.

Alright lads.

Anyone else taking their bairns to the kirk tonight haha?

Is it wrong to like looking at your sister's butt?

They can have our Lapland and Kola for all I care. They should not be under Swedish rule.

But Scotland is the least Nordic part of the UK and Ireland by far. What is this autism?

Kola is Norwegian my friend

>They should not be under Swedish rule.
Ok, explain a bit of your thought process. The reason I included it to the Swedes is due to their earlier ownership of said clay. And a bit because I didn't want to incur their empire feels.

Haggis nigger

no it's not. i used to massage my sister's butt as younger and always had raging boner while doing it

norway big boy country for vikings time

How exactly?

Scots has significantly more germanic vocabulary than standard English.

We also have islands conquered from the vikings where naming customs are still partially nordic and and the flags are nordic crosses.

She's really fat down there and prefers to just wear thin panties, it's really hard not to look.

>

Because thats all you had occupied, little islands where no one lives. England had danelaw, yorkshire and merseyside. Ireland had Dublin etc. The areas where the vikings went in scotland have about 5 people excluding orkney and shetland.

>explain a bit of your thought process

They are not Swedes, it's simple as that. Sweden can have part of our clay, but it's essential that every ethnic group has their own nation or union.

How about the arctic islands in the north of Vinland? The ones between Greenland and mainland Canada? Is it Vinland clay or not?

A cursory examination of Scots vocabulary will reveal to you that Scots are by the far the most Germanic ethnic group on the British Isles. Case closed.

What makes a country Nordic?

Because the Balts, Scots, and Finns are not Norse.

>tfw no empire will ever be that great again
How can we ever compete :(

most of which was inherited from english after the scottish cucked themselves into destroying their own language

Scots is a the slightly more Germanic brother to English. That's only in vocabulary though.

Most of which was inherited from the anglo-saxons that weren't cucked by the normans (i.e. the Scots).

They angles were part of Scotland before English identity was even a thing.

Not sure how updated this is with today's dna-research of the british pops, but this is relevant to your discussion, I believe. I have seen Norwegian-Scottish comparisons showing way higher Norwegian percentage than this map is showing tho, so I suppose there is a bit of a difference with different samples when this has been researched.

We may have been invaded by the normans but at least we didnt cuck ourselves out of three languages and destroy our own culture and then damage control it by claiming to be nordic on Sup Forums because shetland, orkney and five other people were nordic as opposed to danelaw merseyside dublin etc. The amount of norwegian interference in scotland is nothing compared to merseyside.

Being great in general.

>yorkshire

West Riding has the best Nordic flag if I'm totally honest.

>Norn
>Pictish
>whatever Brythonic language was there
>most of Gaelic
Scotland is a waste

Yeah I dont know why retards go on about scotland, they clearly know nothing when yorkshire and dublin and basically anywhere else on the islands are much better candidates. WOW SOME ISLANDS WHERE NO ONE LIVES AND TWO WORDS SO NORDIC

This is the flag of my city. are we nordic yet?

Well this flag is a recent edition, Caithness being a county in northern Scotland.

>we may have been invaded by the normans but at least we didnt cuck ourselves out of three languages
Curious as to what these three languages are.

Anglo-Saxon dialects have been spoken in Scotland since the 7th century and diverged from English in various stages including the norman invasion. It is literally the native language of the most populous areas of Scotland and we've been speaking it for as long as you've been speaking English.

>claiming to be nordic
Did I? I'm merely reiterating the historical consensus that Lowland Scots have stronger ties to other North Germanic cultures than any part of the UK excluding Caithness, Orkney and Shetland. Tone down the inferiority complex pham.

We destroyed all these ourselves and replaced them with Scots.

>some parts of our county where no one lives were occupied somewhat by a small amount vikings a long time ago
>we had better make a nordic flag

>Greenland
>Scotland
>Baltic states
>good

>inviting Estonia and Latvia
hope you're in the mood for 600,000 russians who refuse to integrate

Its like you've never even been to Caithness. The two main towns are Thurso and Wick.

Thurso is named after the River Thurso, or the River Thor as it was named by the Vikings. Wick comes from the Nordic "Vik" for bay (see Reykjavik or "smoking bay" in Iceland).

>Scotland
LITERALLY the most successful country of all time

Scots, Norn and Scottish

>Did I? I'm merely reiterating the historical consensus that Lowland Scots have stronger ties to other North Germanic cultures than any part of the UK excluding Caithness, Orkney and Shetland. Tone down the inferiority complex pham.

I was merely joking and making a point at the same time. And Im not interested in pseudo-history. Shetland, Orkney, a small amount of caithness, islands in the west which are basically abandoned. Incomparable to dublin, yorkshire, danelaw, normans, merseyside etc. What people do is extrapolate a small area where few live to an entire nation when it goes against established history and cultures; its not very convincing.

WE WUZ VIKANGZ N SHIET

You might have noticed that our clay contains Russians as well. We wont be dealing with them.

I dont need to go to Caithness, so few people live in the relevent areas that its even more insignificant than Shetland and Orkney. It seems all you have is three place names in a very small area where no one lives as I had already mentioned previously as opposed to all of the ones in England and Ireland?

>can't even speak their own language

why are you mad for no reason, amerifriend? all of the regions you mentioned are excellent in their own special snowflake ways.

>muh vikings
Colour all our clay red, or colour England + Normandiet red

>Murmansk and karelia in russia

>Scots
Bizarre comment. When did we stop speaking Scots because I must have missed it?

>Norn
You mean we conquered a bunch of islands from a foreign power and made them speak Scots.

>Scottish
Assuming you mean Gaelic, which was extirpated on purpose by the Lowland Scots monarchy.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statutes_of_Iona

What? Scots/English is the native language of Lowland Scotland where the majority of the population lives and has done forever.

If you think Scotland is a celtic culture or ever has been please read the above. Gaelics speakers didn't even call themselves Scots until we cucked them into speaking our language.
