It's been proven that Samsung does this by reserving extra capacity in their batteries, so when you charge up to 100% on your Note 8, it's not actually charging up to 100% capacity of the battery

because they always force touchwizz

Samsung makes their own hardware and software. Applel buys cheap shit from anywhere it can and pays chinks to put them together in a shitty way because all the good designs are already being used by others, and then they pay some nu-males to copy-paste open-source code and change every mention of master/slave or parent/child to fluffy and puffy and paint over everything with the same gay white with grey lines.

not true
samsung batteries suck ass but at least you can buy used ones for cheap from retards that broke their phone or something

t.s3mini

1) why they don’t use this in their notebook batteries (who generally day before months)?
2) how many cicles?
3) exists any chink iPhone clone who don’t die after some weeks?

Apple just buy cheap batteries

Tbh that's a quite good ideia.

>buy iTrash
>pathetic 1500 mAhlet virgin battery
>have charge it once a day minimum with normal usage, sometimes twice
>battery has 1000 charge cycles by the end of one year and is basically dead
>iTrash begins to randomly shutoff at 40% battery
>update iTrash to latest lagOS
>lose 50% performance

>buy Android phone
>alpha 3000+ mAh alpha battery
>lasts 2-3 days on one charge with normal usage
>have only 200 charge cycles on it at the end of a year
>battery easily lasts 3 years with no issues
>can easily pop out battery and swap with premium Anker replacement battery in 2 minutes

iToddlers will NEVER know this feel.

What flagship Android phone has a replaceable battery?

LG V20 master race reporting in. Literal best phone. Better than any current all glass, non-removable battery, non-removable storage shit phones on the market.

>not the Pixel 2
I'm laughing you don't have objectively the best phone on planet earth in terms of performance.

Why the fuck did they ditch the removable battery for the v30?

>shit

I like my dust and water resistance thank you

TouchJizz

>Pixel
>Ever being considered anything more than shjit
Enjoy no removable battery/storage
Because they're stupid. They also ditched the secondary hardware screen and made it some floating software screen that anyone can get. My buddy got a V30 and I was underwhelmed to say the least. I went on Amazon and bought 3 new OEM batteries for my V20. I intend to keep the thing as long as I can.
Get a case. Unless you're someone who has a glass encased phone, doesn't use any sort of case at all, and wonders why the phone looks like shit in 2 months.

>claims
>CLAIMS

>buying cheap looking and feeling plastic shit

>Implying
V20 is made of metal bb. My case is worth $40 and has saved my phone more than once.

Anyone who swears by these new glass phones is retarded. They're slippery, crack all over the place after a single waist height drop, and cost too much. The $400 I spent on my V20 was well worth it.

apple designs their own chips and shiet though, maybe they could design their own battery

>No removal battery/storage
Google provides unlimited storage. You can replace the batter yourself by cracking into the phone.
>Best Camera
>Smoothest OS experience
>Best support
ALl great qualities to the worlds greatest phone.

And despite that, Apple is still the most popular and wealthy company in the market. Humans really don't care about MUH SPECs, rather how entertained they are to use it.

Samsung phones have inferior displays, less processing power and worse camera. Of course they consume less power.

Only strong suit of the pixel is the camera.

Everything else is garbage

Garbage display
Garbage design (huge bezels)
Garbage materials - what is that plastic lol?
Inferior processing power to the iPhone

Tesla does the same.

Charging to 100% or discharging to 0% is bad for batteries, so it's a good idea.
But it would be perfect if you could overwrite it when you need extra battery power, say when you go on a trip.

>Garbage Display
How? It's right up there with other OLED displays
>Garbage Design
Opinionated, Bezels give you more room to hold without random inputs
>Garbage Materials
Objectively superior materials. Plastic and glass are a good combo and attest to durability.
>inferior processing power to iPhone
The only Android that runs well is the Android on Pixel. It doesn't need bloated specs due to optimization.

It’s a league behind Samsung and iPhone displays

>design
It’s backwards

>its backwards
Personally I don't like the recent trend BIG SCREEN=GOOD. Its wrapping around the device, soon to go under it,where the fuck do I put my hands? Its a dumb gimmick. Bezels are OK

0% on your phone is not 0% charge in the battery.
Phones shut off well before you get to the harmful levels for a Li-ion cell.
However, if you left you phone "discharged" it might trickle drain the battery to 0v.

why the fuck does apple keep making

So they can have minimal lifespans, and then purposely slow them down and have the sheep buy new phones every year or two.

Install adw launcher

Because they think "all day battery life" is sufficient.

It's bad enough that other companies actually advertise more than one day battery life.

this is the way to go

but the alternatives: phones with little support, or Google & Samsung. Samsung phones are reliable but you deal with touchwizz. And Google gives you real android with updates, and good hardware but then there's the app development that's gimped because some focus more on iOS. iOS is even slower to navigate and do simple tasks compared to android.

*bootloops in your path*

iToddlers have defended this.

Does it prevent overcharging since there are too many retards out there who charge their phone the entire night?

No, it is because of C-rating (or max. amp. discharge). You have a headroom in current, so everything is cool and safe and long-life.
Just imagine running engine in the red zone all the time, it will wear faster, that idling one. The same idea is here.
Discharging to zero is bad, but charging to 100% is OK.
In Tesla they don't charge battery to 100% to make sure, that regenerative braking will work fine, and as little as possible energy will be wasted as heat on brake pads.

Sounds like a good idea as long as they don't advertise that reserve as being accessible which they don't seem to.

as soon as zerolemon makes a fucking battery case for the v30 all will be well in the world.

still kinda wish i went with a v20 but i've done the extra battery thing for my G3 for like 4 years now so it's been nice having a slim phone for a change.
