This is how Americans advertise their films, every single one of them.
kek
add a "i-am-a-proud-black-woman" and you've got your american movie
This film is great. Baz Luhrman is goat.
manhood and growing up
enchantment Vs greed...
The Danes (Danish?) make great films, like The Idiots, Submarino and Festen.
>(Danish?)
Yep
I may be baised, but I think Irish films are pretty good.

Aaaaahhhhhhhh the French!!!!
or Japan
French/Italian comedies. It's 70's now, right?
i liked Whole Lotta Sole
too bad what happened to Brendan Fraser afterwards
JUST OFF
I would go for Italy, their movies have heart. But France and Japan are honorable mentions.
You say French cinema is weird shit, but the most known English speaking Canadian movies are those by Cronenberg, which are the weirdest shit.
In Bruges was fucking brilliant.
Korea
They have alot of shitty movies but they're still #1 because they pump out so many quantity wise that some end up being good.
I rarely watch non American films. British movies piss me off so maybe Canada since it's pretty similar to US film. For more obscure films Turkey/Greece time is alright
>the most known English speaking Canadian movies are those by Cronenberg
The most well known English speaking movies by a Canadian are the 2 highest grossing films of all time, and one of them won the most awards, both were written, directed, and produced by Canadian James Cameron.
Titanic was ok, Avatar is shit
>british movies piss me off
Why?
What's the name of that film were Dublin lads go camping for a stag do or whatever and end up lost?
Japan with their golden period in the 50s and Anime shit. How is this even a question? USA makes 99%, japan makes like 0.5% and the rest are just super rare.
That's when trailers used to be good, now it's all "epic" music and inception noises.
I can't explain it they just feel "off" for some reason and I can never take them seriously
Fair enough
I recommend you the Finish (horror-/adventure-)movie "Sauna", watch it in Finish with subtitles. It's a really good movie.
No, you don't get what I mean, I'm talking about Canadian-only production, not the origin of the director.
Cameron produced his movies in the US. Cronenberg is legit Canadian cinema, many of his movies were made in Canada.
For example, Englishman Hitchcock made American movies, Polish Jew Roman Polanski made American movies.
the us makes the best films objectively. highest production values, best visual effects, best average level of acting, etc. if one were to list the top 50 greatest films of all time, 40 or more would be american films. sorry britfag
Yeah, that gets really difficult since the overwhelming majority of our actors, directors, and film crews, just move to Hollywood for work, and with the recent trend of American films being shot in Canada for tax and exchange breaks.
It's almost impossible to seperate Canadian film talent from American.
Suggest me UK, Ireland, French, Germany movie titles please?
I'm sick of American movies, more mass ads than the quality.
Sing Street
>added to my list
Thank you~

Nigeria or some shit.
European Union comes out with some ok stuff
I really like Faroese indie films

Not sure. I watched this short film yesterday though youtu.be
