So USA has a voluntary army

So USA has a voluntary army.
For what I've heard, your army does consciously recruit people from poor areas.
So many soldiers in the US army are young men from lower socio-economic class who otherwise wouldn't have very bright future.

Am I correct?

Yes

yes but since the 1960's most colleges and universities don't allow recruiters on campus, so the military doesn't have much of a choice but to recruit in poorer areas

This is a good thing

Yes

I thought the Solomon Amendment deprived Federal Funding to colleges that did this.

they spend millions on tv ads that everyone sees

Yeah, I guess that's a very effective solution.
All the poor bastards get a meaning for their lives and are sent to die in zionist wars while the more capable people are studying and going forwards.
That refines American genepool. Darwin for the win.

Former active duty soldier here.

Yes, they get many recruits from lower class areas. But those are generally niggers who only want the steady paychecks the army provides so they can finance expensive cars and buy Jordans.
Those people typically join as supply/logistics people, truck drivers and mechanics.

However, there are many people that join because they just like the kind of job the military can provide. I know plenty of infantrymen who joined because they're outdoorsy types who like shooting guns. Some want the thrill and adventure combat and military life can provide. These kinds of people typically didn't get recruited, they just volunteered.

Then you have those who know the US education system is fucked, and don't want to get into a lifetime of debt to go to college. So they join the military which pays for college during and after their time.

I was a mix of the last 2 types. I had no way in hell of ever going to college and paying for it. And I like camping, hiking, and guns. The army gave me all of that. Now I'm going to college completely free, I have a car, and nice things and got a job related to my army job, which was medic.
