Been really getting into Xiu Xiu recently even though I had listened to most of their stuff before. It's grown on me I guess.

Needs St. Vincent

Xiu Xiu are pretty cool but Fabulous Muscles is the only thing I've heard from them so I'll have to check out their other stuff

Thanks, but I already know I'm not cool enough for Sup Forums.

I was called a pleb for the first time today

Currents is a pimpin' album

>KINGS - The Right One
this is so not my thing at all but i can appreciate it and thanks for the rec. also, unf that lee hazelwood. i just want him to follow me around and play mellow music while i go about my daily business. terry callier is also really cool.

love me some horse lords. what do you think of the new julianna barwick album?

pleb

but y tho?

idk i don't care at all and i think you should listen to whatever gives you musical fulfillment but devin townsend, john frusciante, the mars volta, at the drive-in, les claypool/primus, and red hot chili peppers i think are all bands that people here associate with high schoolers, and everything everything, animal collective, and swans are all like babby's first Sup Forums. it does not appear from looking at this assortment of music that you have spent a lot of time seeking out new or challenging music.

Guide for into The Cure dudes? I know little-nothing about them but am a big fan of the smiths and joy division

What would be some good 'challenging' music then?

Also, how are John Frusciante's fist two albums not challenging? To me most that music was challenging, and this is coming from someone who used to exclusively listen to Coldplay.

>and this is coming from someone who used to exclusively listen to Coldplay.
so almost everything is challenging for you?

Not what I meant. That was a few years ago. I was mainly talking about the Mars Volta, primus and swans.

Have you listened to John Frusciante's first two albums?

are you angry

No...
Maybe a bit annoyed because you took the chance to mock me rather then actually having a conversation

sorry i was taking a cheap shot. also is not me.

one of those "not nearly as bad as everybody is making it out to be, not nearly as good as the blogs are making it out to be" - i like it overall, though i do agree that the lyrics can get a little 'teenage angst livejournal post' at times

I'm guessing you really like dick in your butt.
I'm guessing you uh.... cut two shirts in half vertically and sew them together forming one complete shirt.
I'm guessing you're a scrawny nerd with a scraggly beard and goatee, who likes to wank on his string instrument.
I'm guessing your lonely and depressed tfw no gf
I'm guessing you're just an average boring person who cares about school and jobs and retreats into music, or whatever.
I'm guessing you think music hit it's creative peak long ago and you think you were born in le wrong generation.
just another boring, nothing special person.

nice j dilla, black sabbath and pink floyd

sweet i will listen to it sooner rather than later
