This, have you ever tried listening to happy music in the midst of a genuine depression? It's infuriating and alienating to the extreme.

Depressing albums are far more helpful than positive ones. I literally couldn't listen to anything positive for a long time because it made me feel shittier and sort of jealous/bitter. However, some good Jazz doesn't go a miss

thats why most suicides happen in spring and summer
When I was really depressed I listened to this album a lot. I really made me feel good when I felt bad. I was just out of the mental hospital, I was going through the journey of finding out what was wrong with me, so I listened to a lot of Frontier Psychiatrist. This album found me at a good time.
Pic is my go-to for the feels now.
