Not that its bad. Its actually incredible and haunting.
It was just not made with the intentions of it being an album or released ever.
She was a German painter and recorded this stuff in 1973. She was at a dark point in her life and wanted to explore music some. One way or another her son showed the songs to a producer of Dinosaur Jrs and then they pieced together an incredible album from it.
This girl was at least 20 years ahead of her time. It sounds like really good contemporary indie folk but it was all written and recorded 30 years before its release (it dropped in 2002).

That's a good album. A really good album, in fact, assuming you like Alice in Chains. Layne is legendary but Cantrell was the true genius behind the band and he continues to write some of the most visceral riffs in rock music.
