>itt we predict the rating pitchfork will give to amsp

>>itt we predict the rating pitchfork will give to amsp.

i'll go for 9.1

Damn this will be fucking hilarious when it gets a 6.7

9.5.

They loved BTW and Daydreaming and neither of those are even in the top 5 tracks on the album.

9.3

>Fantano
Strong 8-light 9

9.7

9.2

Just as you take my hand
Just as you write my number down
Just as the drinks arrive

8.9

Screenshot this post.

>If Thom Yorke was a black transgender
9.8
>What AMSP will get
9.1

It will be > 8 but not BNM

It's almost a shoe-in 9+ because of
on top of also giving True Love Waits BNT. Pitchfork fucking adores the record. I'm thinking a 9.6.

>getting excited for a shitty pitchfork rating
Plebs

Pitchfork - 9.5
Anthony - Decent 9

What's their criteria for a 10 these days anyway?

They seem to hand them out like candy to classic albums.

Excited? Nah, I just like guessing games.

You fucking idiots do this every time. You like an album because you hyped it, therefore you think Pitchfork will endorse it. One, it isn't very good and two, Radiohead aren't the kind of band 2016 would endorse.

They have criteria for these things? In any case a 10 actually isn't out of the question from them this time. Their discussion on it thus far has been absolutely glowing.

They gave BTW and TLW BNM.

Face it nigger, AMSP has 9+ written all over it.

its board culture bra

You're delusional if you think it'll get >9. That's absurd.

The only delusional one here is you.

I dunno man, P4K's been dickriding and dissecting this shit these past few days. Pretty safe to say they're into it.

I'm screenshotting this faggot

Go for it. You do this EVERY TIME.

Unless Thom Yorke dies they're not giving him a >9. You don't understand the way pitchfork works. It isn't "I think the album is good therefore they'll review it well". Culturally and socially the album isn't something they will get behind.

I'm going to screenshot you too, and I will make a thread and it will be very embarrassing and we're all going to laugh at you.

Except signs point to it being something they can get behind. They are 100% caught up in "NEW RADIOHEAD ALBUM GUYS!!!!1!1!" hype.

Because the clicks will get them views without it being an endorsement.

Clicks sound like a cynical enough reason to slap a 9+ on it then. Besides, TKOL notwithstanding (and I think they rated that record honestly) Radiohead has a long history of being on Pitchfork's good side.

9.2, you know it to be true.

9.5
Fantano: Strong 8

It will absolutely be Pitchfork's next holy 10.

I reckon either 8.8 or 9.4.

Reckon we'll get the review tomorrow?

8.8
but it really deserves a 7.8

It will get a 10
Radiohead will have Memefork's number 1 album of the 90s, 00s, and 10s just wait and see

It won't be > 9.3

I hope it will get a 10, just to piss off Sup Forums

What do you think will be the next album to get a 9.6+? Reckon they'll give one this decade?

Dude, face it, it's better than IR.

9.2 BNM
in reality it deserves a 6.9 at most but it will never happen, that would be bad publicity for Pitchfork

guessing high 8s (8.8). they also gave BNT to james blake and did articles on him and he got 8.2, so clearly BNT on songs is not a predictor of anything beyond high 7s/low 8s. the album is great but not revelatory, and given the amount of hype they've given it it would be embarrassing for them to give lower than high 8s, but also embarrassing to give high 9s. mid-high 8s/low 9s is probably the safest route for them

9.1

screencap this

Idk dud, Views had two BNM tracks before they reviewed the album, and it didn't even get a 7/10. I mean, AMSP is clearly a better album in almost all regards than Views but still, two BNM tracks =/= BNM album or even >8.

It will get a very lukewarm score. If you recall, they hyped up Drake only to cut him down just in time for the review. They're garnering hype to gain traffic. Radiohead isnt the kind of band they're going to give an AOTY BNM to. It probably wont even get BNM to begin with.

They gave 10/10 to OKC and Kid A.

>8.4, too much water

You're acting like the Pitchfork that gave Kid A a 10 is the same Pitchfork operating now. You're just succumbing to wishful thinking. If you honestly think this is getting anywhere near a 10, you're delusional.

Burn the Witch sucks

AMSP has like four BNT though and it's significantly shorter than Views.

B-but Radiohead isn't muh memerappers

I mean, they gave drakes album two BNTs and then gave it a 6.8

It has 2, and one that didn't get a BNT

>All in all, Radiohead's new record is by really great, but they're all white and appropriating rock music, which was invented and perfected by black musicians and stolen by white people, much like a cultural imperialism, so we can't rate anything higher than Drake's Views.
>6.7

I think so too

9.8 imo

I can see a 7.2

What good is it having two BNTs if the rest is shit? Pitchfork handed out BNTs for AMSP that aren't even top 3, this is completely different.

Drake had 2 BNTs and his album got a 6.8.

Read this
BTW, Daydreaming and TLW aren't the best tracks on AMSP, the rest of the album is generally considered good, unlike Views.

That's exactly what I was talking about, user.

The difference is this album is actually good

10.0 with 0.8-1.2 removed for it being a white male band

Decks Dark is GOAT. Does anyone agree?

the fuck are you even talking about, dude?

Hes right you know. Beyonce will get a higher score
