>pc randomly turns on

>pc randomly turns off

>pc randomly turns on

>pc just randomly

Only Windows does that. My desktop PC keeps doing that even though I've even changed all the components. I have Debian and Windows 10 dualboot and it only happens in Windows. My issue is more like waking from sleep, but a couple of days ago I was greeted with Debian's login screen after coming back to PC so Windows had restarted the computer without asking. If all the NSA botnet programmers would start developing and maintaining Windows (instead of Pajeets) I bet it would be a lot better.

>pc randomly installs gentoo
how do I get this fucking shit off my computer

russian hackers at it again

...

This literally happened to me last night.. Figure NSA needed to track another one of my cryrpto keys.

>console windows opens for 0.5sec and closes
>it's just the color re-calibration program

>pc randomly botnets

>compiling package fails
>every time

>pc turns on but fan doesn't
It's trying to be sneaky isn't it?

Was is really turned off or just in standby / hibernation?
Forced Windows updates perform a restart which can look like a pc randomly turning on.

Happened to me last night
PC was in sleep mode
i checked logs, and saw windows tried to synchronize clock, fails, pc goes to sleep after 30 minutes, wake up 30 minutes after, and so on.
good job MS

they're coming

>PC randomly turns on
>and off
>and on
>for no reason
Yet the other three Windows 10 machines in the house have zero issues.

>i checked logs

>PC turned off
>Ethernet port still flashing

It was me. Sorry for scaring you, man.

t. based hackerman

>set PC to sleep mode
>standing up from chair creates a mini EMP, that gets picked up by wifi-stick or some other input and turns the PC back on
>Have to always stand up before enabling sleep mode

I already connected it with a chain to the radiator so I no longer shock myself when touching the metal part after standing up

>I no longer shock myself when touching the metal part
lol that brings me back. my old at cases, the ones grounded straight to the frame off the power button. they always shocked the shit out of me

>at least 4 botnets in the house

Turn off Wake-on-LAN.

>cmd window appears and instantly disappears on boot

I can't order my roommates around and I need a 10 install for my vidya.

>pc randomly turns off
>Mouse and keyboard stop working
>Restart pc
>Everything goes back to normal
>This never happens again
H-Huh..?

pc turns me randomly on

The hard drive is making disc noise , I'm not using the computer.

Of course your mouse and keyboard didn’t work you weeaboo faggot. You said it yourself that it was off.

>windows
>keeps bios defaults
It's called wake-on-lan, numbnuts. Also, get rid of botnet.

This

>PC randomly turns me on

>I randomly turn on

Wangblows does this unless I disable every way to boot it up except the power button, it even turns on if I touch the amp connected to an external DAC connected to the PC, linux works just fine.

>pc generates a truly random number

Just happened to me today, left it for a checkup. Feels bad man

>program does not work
>make a change
>still does not work
>revert the change
>program suddenly works

what does the stuff before that say

Seriously why does Windows do this and how can I stop it (other than uninstalling)? Wake on LAN is disabled already.

IDK WHAT IT COULD BE M8

Are you fat by any chance

>disable all Network Connections
>computer turns on when i try to go to sleep
